We were looking for a playground that would last a long time and remain interesting to our kids for many years. In our lab tests, Bassinet models like the Soothing Motions are rated on multiple criteria, such as those listed below. We like the stable base and storage tray, but the inability to wash the mesh, fabric, or mattress could be frustrating over time. From overnight light projection, calming vibrations, and a variety of gentle songs and sounds, your baby will be catching Zzz's in no time!

This is a bit more expensive than the standard mass-produced playground, but SOOO much better quality. The item may be missing its original packaging, or the original packaging has been opened or is no longer sealed. Which is annoying since the bassinet is right beside me in bed, so the lights shine right in my face. The lifespan of a bassinet is the point at which the baby should stop using the bassinet, as determined by cutoffs set by its manufacturer. The sound/light machine can come off and used else where which is wonderful, being able to rock the bassinet yourself is great because you know what kind of rocking motion your baby likes.The bassinet is sort of suspended in the metal frame so you have the ability to rock it in any motion or direction, and the removable sounds with light feature is cool too. Sensory: A variety of music and sounds, calming vibrations, and swaying motion engage your baby's developing senses. The Soothing Motions bassinet comes with a mobile, stars and moon projection, a nightlight, music, sounds, vibration, and soothing sway motions (above left).

Loose strings hang out of the fabric that covers the top rail, and there is nothing to hold the mattress in place.The Soothing Motions earned relatively low eco-health score, tying with several other budget-friendly options. There’s no way to “turn it on”, so really all you can do is spin it, which obviously only lasts so long.
