Customize a Battle Sister with the Simulacrum Imperialis, representing their unwavering faith and the miracles it can invoke. I’m honestly not sure what I’d change about this Boarding Patrol box – it seems pretty solid to me. But we might as well go into a little depth on what we get to provide a bit of context on what they can do on the tabletop. To add depth and dimension to the miniatures, apply highlights and shades. For lighter areas, use lighter shades of the base colors, and for shaded areas, use darker tones. Apply these highlights and shades selectively to create contrast and bring out the details. But to the Sisters’ way of thinking, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing… The Adepta Sororitas fit between the Astra Millitarum and Adeptus Astartes in ability and equipment. They are slightly more effective at shooting and better armored than their Imperial Guard allies, but not as effective or well equipped as the Space Marines. They get an invulnerable save and are effective counter-psykers against Grey Knights and Thousand Sons. The sisters became Vandire's personal bodyguard, and their skill at arms was enhanced by training in the finest weapons and armour the High Lord could provide. The Brides of the Emperor would stand at Vandire's side wherever he went, and they were both his bodyguards and his executioners. The Sisterhood serves as the Ministorum's only official military force because the Decree Passive laid down by the reformist Ecclesiarch Sebastian Thor held that in the wake of the Age of Apostasy's Reign of Blood in the 36th Millennium, the Ecclesiarchy cannot maintain any "men under arms." Adds a Tiers 2 leader to the squad. Powerful melee unit on her own, upgraded (Inferno Pistol, Power Sword) or not (Bolt Pistol, Chainsword), she also permanently boosts her squad's Morale and damages through her innate, permanent and non-visible Leadership passive (used in weapon charts), until of course she dies. Reliquary - Reliquaries come in a myriad of forms, such as boxes, caskets, and cases. They are used to contain relics, charms, or holographic images of actual relics. This kit builds 10 Battle Sisters and 1 Incensor Cherub. The Battle Sisters are equipped with boltguns, though up to two of them can be assembled with a special weapon (storm bolter, meltagun or flamer). Alternatively, one Battle Sister may carry a special weapon while another bears a heavy weapon (heavy bolter or heavy flamer). One of your Battle Sisters can carry a sacred Simulacrum Imperialis, with two variant options mounted atop the pole. The components also enable you to build a Sister Superior armed with a chainsword or power sword and a choice of ranged weapons, including a condemnor boltgun or combi-weapon (combi-flamer, -melta or -plasma).
