I love Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels. Every time I open the bag they disappear. I decided it was time we created our own Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Bites. We used our pretzel bite recipe and stuffed them with peanut butter. Oh, and we didn’t stop there. We also dipped them in chocolate. These pretzel bites are salty, sweet, and so much fun!

Grab a helper! I halved the recipe, but it still took my a *really* long time to make all those little peanut butter dots, as well as to fill and fold all the pretzel bites. Well worth the effort, though! Powdered sugar: This type of sugar is best for creating a smooth texture in the peanut butter layer. It dissolves easily and adds sweetness without the grittiness of granulated sugar. Few Ingredients –You only need 6 simple ingredients to make these treats. And you can find everything in any supermarket.

We make these treats to enjoy throughout the week, but I recently made them for a movie night and the kids loved them! I served them along with my movie theatre muddy buddies, and a large bowl of kettle corn. When your pretzel crust is cool, use a mixer to beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla for about 5 minutes. Add the peanut butter and mix well. STEP THREE: Add the crushed pretzels and granulated sugar to a medium-sized mixing bowl (2 to 3 quarts). Stir to combine. Add the melted butter and stir to coat the pretzel mixture completely.
