MirMc Not the same product! As others, I bought this after using the sample in the beauty box which I loved. Unfortunately the product I received, feels and smells nothing like the sample! We think that the truth lies somewhere in the middle, and we agree with Dr. Baumann's conclusion: " sufficient evidence to establish a causal link between RP and skin cancer has not been produced. Nor, I’m afraid, are there any good reasons to recommend the use of RP". We would addespeciallyduring the day! When it comes to cosmetic oils and hype, argan oil is for sure leading the way. Dubbed as the " liquid gold of Morocco", we have to admit we have some trouble determining why this oil enjoys such a special miracle status. Not that it's not good, it is good, even greatbut reading the research about argan and a bunch of other plant oils we just do not see the big, unique differentiating factor (though that might be our fault not reading enough, obvs.) So, what DOES it do? A little bit of everything, really. This is a three-in-one moisturiser, primer and face mask, and the ‘In Transit’ part of the name is inspired by the idea that it’s the perfect product for travel, given that you’re essentially getting three separate products in one single tube/application. I tried this for a couple of weeks, and used it for all three of the purposes stated on the tube. And it was fine.

The cream feels rich and a little more dense, but it rubs on smoothly and has a dry finish that makes your skin look just like skin — not too oily, not too matte. And because it contains hyaluronic acid, you can feel the cream soothe and plump your dry skin, leaving it nourished and makeup ready. Apply this works In Transit Camera Close-Up to clean skin, including eye area, and massage gently until absorbed. Skin will feel slightly dewy and perfectly prepped for make-up. There’s been one product that really caught my eye this year from a beauty box and I’ve patiently had it waited whilst I cleared out all other primers I had half used. The This Works In Transit Camera Close Up came in the 2017 February Tili Box… yep I had that many half used primers i only started this in December.

In theory, it can speed up the lipolysis process (the "fat burning" by our cells) andstimulate the draining lymph system that might lead to the improvement of cellulite. But here again, the evidence that it actually makes a measurable, let alone visible, improvement on actualhuman beings is limited (we could find only some animal skin studies or caffeine being combined with other actives). Firstly, it's stability is only similar to that of pure ascorbic acid (AA), which means it is not really stable. A great study in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology compared a bunch of vitamin C derivatives and this derivative was the only one where the study said in terms of stability that it's "similar to AA". Not really that good. Third, another study that wanted to examine the antioxidant properties of AP was surprised to find that even though AP does have nice antioxidant properties; following UVB radiation (the same one that comesfrom the sun) it also promotes lipid peroxidation and cytotoxicity. It was only an in-vitro study meaning that it was done on cellcultures and not on real people, but still, this also does not support the use of AP too much.

Giftbag1 Not for Me I quite like this, but it’s quite drying on the skin, I liked the idea of a primer/moisturiser and I will continue to use, however, it’s quite pricey so not sure I will buy again, purely for the drying on the skin. I find it really useful for the mornings when I don’t have much time to wait for primer and moisturiser to absorb before applying foundation. I’m very happy with it. I did however feel like the This Works In Transit Camera Close Up really helped with oil control – I was expecting over a few days this was going to be a product that I would want to layer with my MAC Oil Control Lotion, but actually I was happy with the longevity of Oil Control without. I received a 20ml sample of In Transit Camera Close-Up a while ago in one of the many Lookfantastic beauty boxes, but I started using it 1.5 months ago or so. It sounded promising and so I hoped that this primer-mask-moisturiser would become my new favourite.
