Ye i would never put pig oil on in summer its actually meant for feathered horses to help grow and maintain mane and feather i use on all my traditionals all through winter to stop there feathers burning off and it acts as a good mud guard too! I did treat twice with frontline and it seemed to work up til now but it seems they are back again because shes stamping again.
