Almost any ingredient will leech flavour into gin if given long enough – but some fruits work better than others. It is made with the same combination of distinctive botanicals as original Liverpool Gin which has an intense juniper and complex, well-balanced botanical flavour over a rich cereal note with a bright citrus finish – the refreshing Valencian Orange Liverpool Gin has the addition of the zesty citrus notes of oranges from Valencia. Boutique-y Gin Company are responsible for creating this one by infusing gin in a pineapple that’s been covered in sugar roasted over a flame.

Whitley Neill Quince Gin is a premium handcrafted dry gin inspired by the timeless flavours of Persia – the first gin of its kind in the UK.The gin features a complementary blend of heady, exotic botanicals and real quince juice, and boasts a distinctive and alluring taste. Created in recognition of the UK’s police forces 200 plus year service, 20% of the profits from sales of Gin Blue Line are donated to police charities supporting serving and retired police officers.

It has a pleasant earthy taste, and you definitely know its nettle based, with a taste reminiscent of the Nettle Cordial we made last year. Once cooked to remove the ‘sting’ they produce a delicious, irrefutably ‘green’ flavour, which is what gives J.

Our Nettle Liqueur is definitely a more earthy affair than that, but is equally simple to make, and really tastes rather good. Its peculiarity stands in using seasonal flora from Kew Gardens as part of the 42 botanicals that come from all around the world. Combine 35 ml of D1 London Gin with 15ml Cointreau, 2 teaspoons of cranberry sauce or 25ml cranberry juice and 20 ml of lime juice. Over the 48 hours our infusion got progressively darker, and to be honest I expected it to taste pretty disgusting when I tried it, but in fact it tastes really rather good.
