About this deal

Timbre is slightly less natural on the Zero, and the Zero may be more uncomfortable due to perpendicular edges in the shells. Vs. Moondrop CHU The Salnotes Zero has a simple and cool-looking design that is made from high-quality materials. The earphones fit nicely in all sizes of ears and provide excellent comfort for long listening sessions. The Zero is a fantastic product "for the price". The linearity, presentation, detail and extension on both ends are commendable. When pitched against a higher tier it WILL begin to show flaws. The soundstage is confined/intimate/narrow, instrument separation is mediocre, layering is poor, metallic/artificial timbre on instruments, generally less refined sounding (artifacts can be noticed when you compare against a higher tier like say, the E3000). I know that's an unfair comparison but just goes to show these are NOT giant-killers by any stretch of imagination! The CHU have less bass, though like the Salnotes Zero, they have superior bass speed and texturing than the Wan’er. The CHU, however, have a more boosted upper midrange and lower treble, leading to more fatigue and acerbity. Tips are the same as the ones that come with the Dioko. EDIT: Except that the Dioko comes with an additional single medium sized pair of clear tips. I'm trying the Spinfit CP100, but the red tips that were included are fine. I like having that extra bit of comfort that Spinfit provides. :-) Nozzles are short, so plan accordingly if you intend to use aftermarket tips.

The 7HZ Salnotes Zero In-Ear Monitors are known for their smooth, detailed, and musical sound quality. The IEMs have a decent high and depth, and the music feels like it's all around you, like a stereo sound system. Bass: The bass on the Mangird Top is deep, impactful, and textured. It's not overly boosted, but it's definitely present and gives the IEM a fun and engaging sound. The bass is also very well-controlled, so it doesn't bleed into the mids or highs. The CHU are tuned to Moondrop’s virtual diffuse sound field (VDSF) tuning philosophy (their in-house variant of the Harman curve).Fit is the biggest issue with the BL-03, due to their very short nozzles. Most consumers struggle on this front and need to resort to aftermarket longer ear tips, or mods, to optimize the ergonomics. Essentially, this translates to added cost. Vs. 7Hz Salnotes Zero It is important to note that the 3.5mm version of the Salnotes Zero does not come with a microphone. However, the Type-C version of the earphones comes with a microphone that works decently well. During this review, we used the 3.5mm version, but we also tested the Type-C version and found that the microphone works well enough for making calls and voice chats.

The housings utilize a dual cavity chamber within an acoustic cavity, within which a PET dynamic driver with an N52 magnet is the heartbeat of these IEMs.Bass texture/quality and quantity for sure! The bass frequencies dig deeper and are hence more separated in the Zero, But it's got poor texture and timbre. The bass on the Zero is of the unnatural/metallic kind while it's 'wet' and more life-like on the E3000. What makes these IEMs stand out is that they are tuned by Crinacle, a very popular YouTube reviewer who recently broke his silence on this collaboration project in his video. Let's dive into the details and find out if the 7HZ Salnotes Zero is worth the hype. Design and Build Quality: The mid-bass hits with quite a good punch, though in terms of quality, it is on the slower side; there’s smearing noted in complex bass movements. Texturing is below average; unfortunately, there is mid-bass bleed, with an undefined bass heard. Midrange

The company is also coming up with its inaugural earbud, christened the Baijuyi. Technical Specifications You will surely be spoiled for choices if you get such quality drivers and sublime tuning at rediculously cheap prices. The Simgot EM6L isMuch much wider soundstage on the E3000! Better depth too. Generally more holographic. This is a night and day difference compared to the Zeros which are fairly intimate and 2d sounding. The upper mids are well-dosed. It is at the edge of getting vocals forwards without veering too much to shoutiness. However, this region can be fatiguing at louder volumes ( Fletcher Munson curve), so the Wan’er are probably best used at low to moderate volumes. Treble The imaging on the Salnotes Zero is also noteworthy. It is better than any other model we have heard in this price range. You can easily feel the direction of instruments and singers. The imaging is so precise that you can almost point out where each instrument is coming from. This level of imaging is not common in earphones at this price range, and it is impressive that Salnotes Zero has been able to deliver it. With the Salnotes Zero, you can enjoy a level of clarity and separation that is rare in budget in-ear monitors. No budget segment royal rumble would be complete without mentioning the big Kahuna: the venerable BLON BL-03.

Anyone want me to compare it with anything else in particular? Any song in particular? Here's my list of IEMs currently: balanced tuning. Couldn't find a single genre which does not sound good with this IEM. It reminds me of the TinnHIFI P1 Max Panda (Planar), very similar tuning. Oh wow! 7hz actually CAN make comfortably shaped IEMs! These nearly disappear in the ear, no weird, concha-challenging curves to be seen. The cable of the Salnotes Zero is made of sturdy and flexible plastic material, and it is tangle-free. The cable is long enough to avoid any inconvenience, and the earpieces are attached at an angle to provide a comfortable fit. The IEMs come with a variety of ear tips of different sizes and bright colors. To summarize the review, we have compiled a list of the Salnotes Zero's pros and cons in a markdown table. Pros The product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, MRP tag intact, user Being much smoother and refined (no artifacts) without sacrificing detail in vocals or bass (though yes, sub-bass is missing). For the same level of detail the Zeros seem less refined, not because of more treble energy but because of more artifacts (a hallmark of cheaper gear). Just to be clear, the tuning is excellent on the Zeros not harsh at all (except a tiny spike in the upper treble)
