All of the lighting chips used on the LED strips are A rated. RGBW LED light has higher lighting efficiency because of the better light transmittance. Different from certain lighting absorption and blending of RGB LED, RGBW LED light reflects all the light without wasting, and therefore, increase lighting efficiency. In other words, RGBW LED light is capable of offering brighter light with the same energy consumption with RGB LED. Wiring an RGB and RGB + W strip light has a slight difference. If an RGB strip light has four outputs (red, blue, green, and power), an RGB + W has five (red, blue, green, white and power). As for the controls, they both have the same varieties but are prescribed for each type. So, there are RGB remote control and receiver and a specified RGBW remote control and receiver. Some controls have combined both, like an RGB or RGBW wall controller and other smart controlling devices. Set the light to white mode by setting this to True. Therefore, multiple colors can be generated by adjusting the output of each LED. PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is used to control the output of the RGBW LED light colors that we perceive. PWM controls the voltage of each LED by adjusting duty cycle, then the current through each LED is adjusted. The larger the current, the brighter the LED, and vice versa. In consequence, color levels are adjusted. The mixture of red, green, blue and white LED and different color levels of them accomplish dynamic and abundant color shadings. RGBWW LED strips feature a 4 in 1 diode with an additional white channel for colour changing. This allows RGBWW LED strips to access a full colour spectrum with the addition of a true warm white. Warm White can also be mixed with standard RGB colours to produce a range of colours unique to RGBWW. Is RGBWW Better than RGB? RGBWW – it’s similar to an RGBW strip light but with the addition of warm white. The only difference between the two is the saturation of the colour white. Because of the warm white chip, this strip can produce a softer yellowish-white glow.
