About this deal

There was a catch. Half of the teams were asked to do a pre-scavenger hunt icebreaker together, and the other half were simply asked to read an article together. If you could learn about any new topic or skill, without any constraints of time or money, what would it be? Each person writes something they have already done on a piece of cardboard. The leader collects the papers and shuffles them, then reads the first card. He will then guess who did what was on the card. The guessed person will then let the player know if they guessed correctly or not. If they did, then the guessed person shall tell the story behind what he wrote. If not, simply move on to the next card and the next person. The game ends when all cards have been read. 24. Desert Island How to Play: Set a timer for 10 minutes and instruct the teams to build a structure that can meet a challenge. Encourage teamwork by having each group assign specific roles to their team members, such as “the engineer,”“the presenter,”“the decorator,” and “the tester.” The challenge could be to make the biggest, tallest, most vital, or weirdest-shaped structure. Each person lists the top 10 items they would need to survive on a desert island. From the lists, the group agrees on the top five to share.

Set-Up: Instruct participants to pair up and face each other a couple of steps apart. Hand out a bag of popcorn to each pair. How to Play: To start the game, pass the bag around the group and have each person reach in to grab one of the objects without looking. Then, the leader begins a story based on their holding object. After a few sentences of narration, the next participant continues the report based on their item. Continue around the circle until everyone has contributed to crafting an intriguing tale based on objects from the bag. #12 Don’t Break the Frown Catch the Ball Introductions is a get-to-know-you icebreaker that is very simple yet effective. This activity works well for small and medium sized groups. The only material that is required to play is a small ball or other object that can safely be passed around the room. Ice Breakers Mints". Let’s see how you can get this show on the road: This icebreaker idea is super simple, and who doesn’t like pets? It’s best performed for remote teams that are newer and/or as a first-day icebreaker. Here’s how: Start the Game: The first person begins the story by saying a single word. It’s often easiest to start with “Once,” but any word that can start a story is fine. To play this game, you've got to have a toaster, pieces of bread, and an assortment of condiments and spreads. Start with gathering the group into a circle. Give them a minute or two to think of words to fill in a sentence like: I love/hate/dislike/admire ________ because _________. And then, put a slice of bread into the toaster and ask a person to start sharing their completed sentence. Whoever is speaking while the bread pops should eat the toast...but the team gets to decide which condiment or spread goes into the toast. What a delicious way to break the ice. 19. Toilet Paper Game Everyone has an interesting photo on their phone, so this is a great activity for everyone! Here’s mine… Icebreaker #10: Partner Lunch Once the bowl of candy has been passed around, each person has to answer a question for each color they take. For example, you can assign questions such as: Have each member of your group send a baby photo to you. Make a presentation of the compilation of the photos and let them guess who's who. The member who gets the most correct number of correct guesses wins. 4. First/worst job

Best For: Strategic minds seeking to decode enigmatic clues and outsmart opponents in a witty word game. How to Play: The group leader begins by completing the sentence “sit down if…” with silly or strange phrases, such as:

End the Story: Eventually, the story will reach a natural conclusion. Typically, the facilitator or someone who senses a good ending coming might say “And” and the next person can say “The” and then “End” to wrap it up.This is my favorite icebreaker, because you combine easy bonding with the best possible ingredient: sugar! To coordinate this icebreaker: Want to challenge your team’s senses and create some laughs along the way? “Guess the Item” is the perfect in-person icebreaker to mix things up.
