Held at 11:00 a.m. on the 11 November, the silence takes place across the country. Many TV channels and radio stations ask audience members to join them in holding a silence. There are even announcements about the silence in supermarkets! Mark-Making with a variety of media from paint to dye to basic drawing media…whatever I have to hand. In ‘Tell me about yesterday tomorrow’, however, both elements come together on equal terms, complementing each other in unexpected and productive ways.
