It all depends on your preferences, hand size, and grip style. The S2 and Deathadder have completely different shapes too. If you want a mouse that’s more form-fitting and shaped ergonomically you can go for the V2 (but keep in mind that DeathAdders are pretty large mice) and if you want a more neutral shape the S2 is a good one to go for. The Benq Zowie S2 Accessories is 2-3 Days now in our store (Call us to know about details of this product). I've been loving the access I've had to so many different kinds of Zowie mice. I started out with large mice thinking my FK1 was too small but after trying some of the smaller mice like the EC2-B and the S2 I definitely prefer the maneuverability I have with these.

I guess it depends on your grip style. I have 19x10cm and use a claw grip where the mouse is usually 45 degree angled and takes support from the right side of my palm, and the G100s is my dream shape.
As you may or may not know, the S2 is a small to medium sized mouse with an ambidextrous design. Apart from the coating there are no changes between the Divina version and the regular version, so if you’ve had the chance to play with that then you already know what to expect here. The default LODis just over 1 DVD (1.2 mm) and, just like with the EC3-Cit’s not possible to lower it to be under that point. Is that a problem? That depends. Not for me, as I’m fine with an LOD of under 2.4 mm (which is the case here) but if you’re someone who really needs their Lift Off Distance to be under that 1 DVD mark then this is definitely something to note. This doesmean that you won’t be able to customize the precise DPI settings or anything like that, but the included DPI steps of 400, 800, and 1600 (there’s also 3200, but that’s far less common) are by farthe most used DPI settings so the vast majority of gamers won’t need anything else. Conclusion & Recommendation The basic principle of Zowie’s scroll wheel philosophy remains the same with the S line; it’s a 16-step wheel which was chosen because having fewer step makes it easier to switch weapons or what have you (whereas a wheel with more steps increases the probability of scrolling too far) and that’s great for gaming where you want to be as precise as possible with your mouse wheel, but not so great for intensive browsing. The S2 is a gaming mouse though, and in that context it’s a perfectly fine wheel. It’s pretty loud and rigid feeling, but I feel like Zowie has made steps forward when it comes to the overall feeling of it: the scroll wheel on older Zowie models could sometimes feel a little rattly and flimsy, but that’s not the case here. If you’ve got larger hands (or you are a palm gripper with smaller hands) you can always go for the larger S1 so there’s plenty of options out there for basically any grip type and hand size.

I would like to express appreciation for the fitting kit. I've learned quite a bit about what I like and dislike in these two weeks. It turns out the mouse I expected to like the least, I ended up liking the most, and vice versa! Finding the right mouse isn't cheap nor easy and you guys managed to fuse both… Once you get the hands on it, many minor details amount to a huge assist to actually using the mice. Slight angles, a more concave section here, a tiny ledge there, it all adds up to a much needed human element to design… it was a worthwhile experience and learned a bunch…”hey, i would like to ask what zowie mouse should i get if my hands are 19/9 to 9.5-ish and built for a relaxed claw grip? Zowie is one of the most used brands in the competitive gaming scene. Their mice are tailor-made for (tactical) shooter games, and that shows in their usage numbers. The brand has consistently been on top in our most used lists for games such as CS:GO, which is not a surprise seeing as their most used line (the EC) was co-developed with professional Counter-Strike players. Thanks to the larger surface area on the sides of the mouse it’s also really easy to change grips on the fly. That’s not something that I (or most people) do during gaming, but it is a testament to how well this new shape accommodates a wide variety of grip styles. I keep saying it when I review Zowie mice, and it keeps ringing true: the shape is undoubtedly one of Zowie’s major strong suits.

Inside of the Zowie S2 you’re gonna find the 3360 sensor. That’s a flawless sensor and Zowie have implemented it well, which means that it’s gonna register everything that you do on the pad with perfect precision without adding any smoothingor acceleration. Most new (FPS) gaming mice coming from reputable brands have a flawless sensor and the S2 isn’t any different. The S2 houses the 3360 sensor, which perfectly translates every movement you make on your desk to the game without doing any predicting, snappingand so on. No one to blame but yourself (or lag) if you miss that absolutely crucial headshot on the enemy healer, in other words. All in all the S2 is yet another great feeling and fitting Zowie mouse so if you feel like the FK line is perhaps a bit too long and flat for you it can be a great idea to try out the S1 or S2. Buttons and Scroll Wheel The S2 is a small to medium sized mouse with a very safe shape and that trademark ‘ it feels so good‘ Zowie shape, so it should suit almost every grip type under the sun if your hands are the right size for this mouse. A lot of people (myself included) weren’t really fans of the glossy/matte mixture that Zowie were using on their newer standard models so it’s good to see that they have improved on this coating. I included a picture comparing the S2 almost fresh out of the box to a barely used EC2-B to illustrate this difference. With both coatings in mint condition it’s clear to see that something has changed.Hello my grip is claw, I saw a video on YouTube and said that the za model was ideal for the claw grip since the ec was for palm and the fk finger grip. Zowie is still using the 3360 in their mice. That’s an older one but if you ask me it doesn’t really matter. It’s a flawless sensor either way. I found no traces of any malfunctions during my testing either, so Zowie has implemented it well if you’re asking me.

I cannot exactly decide which mouse I should use, I mainly play FPS and MOBA’s , I wouldn’t mind keeping 2 mice [One for FPS , one for MOBA] One of the things Zowie emphasize in their marketing for this product is that they made this mouse shorter to make vertical aiming easier. That’s a bit of an odd thing to single out to me since that entirely depends on your grip style, but this shorter design doesallow for some space between the mouse and your palm (unless you’re a palm gripper obviously) which can make micro adjustments on the vertical axis easier to do so I can kind of see where they’re coming from. Vertical aim or not: I personally think that this is one of their best shapes yet and I like this shorter, more boxy design better than that of the flatter FK if I had to choose. Due to the shorter overall length and smaller size I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this mouse for palm grippers with medium to large hands, but most of this obviously comes down to personal preference so take this section for what it is: a rough guideline. I should add, that i recently used a mouse finder tool, and when entering the data, three mice came out on top : Something that I haven’t seen you mention is the Endgame Gear XM1. That’s a great mouse for claw/fingertip grip as well and might be right up your alley as far as size is concerned. It’s got a flawless sensor, great cable, it’s light, … It’s a really good gaming mouse but often flies under the radar.
As is tradition with Zowie mice there is little to note about the S2-C. Don’t get me wrong: I’m not saying that that’s a bad thing. Rather than trying to draw attention by using garish design choices or compromising on the performance of their product by adding unnecessary RGB strips or what have you, Zowie chooses to go for a no-nonsense design. I’ve always appreciated that design decision, even though I’m not really someone who cares about the look of their peripherals. If you like everything that you’re reading here but you have larger hands then you can always steer towards the S1 model, which is the exact same as the S2 but with slightly larger dimensions. Buttons and Scroll Wheel I feel like I can be pretty brief here. The days of gaming mice using sensors that can spin out or have accelerationor any of that nonsense are over.
