About this deal

I have been in the hobby for over 9 years now. Have owned or briefly auditioned (and given away to family/friends) a bunch of IEMs; E10c, Re-400a, Dunu Titan 1 (aka Fiio EX1), Beyerdynamic Byron, Audio Technica IM-70, Blon BL-03 and the Final E3000. If you are someone who is working from home and needs to do a conference call or have a video call, you'll benefit from a pair of earphones/IEMs with a mic. I paired these iems with Moondrop Moonriver Ti 2 and I can say they do definitely sound so much better than any iem that I have or have owned before. The quality of the sound, the texture, clarity and tonality are very apparent and noticeable to me. They are very comfortable to wear and lightweight. The cable does not produce any noticeable microphonic noise and has 3 types of connection, 3.5 single ended, 4.4mm and 2.5mm balanced connector. The shells have ‘L’ and ‘R’ lettering to delineate the left and right sides of the earpieces, respectively. The soundstage on the Mangird Top is wider than all budget iems that have own and have used before, and the imaging is very precise. This makes the IEM great for listening to music with complex soundscapes and excellent for FPS gaming. I can easily place each instrument in the soundstage or footsteps in gaming.

The imaging on the Salnotes Zero is also noteworthy. It is better than any other model we have heard in this price range. You can easily feel the direction of instruments and singers. The imaging is so precise that you can almost point out where each instrument is coming from. This level of imaging is not common in earphones at this price range, and it is impressive that Salnotes Zero has been able to deliver it. With the Salnotes Zero, you can enjoy a level of clarity and separation that is rare in budget in-ear monitors. After the Upper Midrange, we’ve got the Treble region between 6kHz and 8 kHz, and this is where things start toThe treble is fatigue-free and smooth, with minimal sibilance, though resolution and micro-details might be dampened due to this tuning choice. Comparisons The Wan’er are very easy to drive. Amplification is optional, although these scale with juice in terms of increased dynamics and tighter bass. Frequency response graph of the Wan’er via an IEC711 compliant coupler. 8 kHz region is a coupler artefact peak. everything between 80 and 300 hertz. In this area, we’ve got instruments like bass guitar and the low end of a The housings utilize a dual cavity chamber within an acoustic cavity, within which a PET dynamic driver with an N52 magnet is the heartbeat of these IEMs.

Some of the competitors in this price range include the KZ ZST X, the CCA Lyra, and the BLON BL03. While these earphones are also popular in their respective price ranges, the Salnotes Zero is definitely a step above in terms of sound quality and overall value. Pros and Cons: First things first after trying many IEMs under 2k rupees like CCA CRA and CRA+ Blon Bl03 KZ EDX Ultra And Moondrop CHU and every earphones under 1000 rupeesThe 7Hz Salnotes Zero has easily got to be among the best IEMs that you can get under Rs. 2000. This IEM puts a lot of its counterparts to shame and is a prime example of why you don't need to pay for tuning. The bass on the Mangird Top is deep, impactful, and textured. It's not overly boosted, but it's definitely present and gives the IEM a fun and engaging sound. The bass is also very well-controlled, so it doesn't bleed into the mids or highs.

Bass texture/quality and quantity for sure! The bass frequencies dig deeper and are hence more separated in the Zero, But it's got poor texture and timbre. The bass on the Zero is of the unnatural/metallic kind while it's 'wet' and more life-like on the E3000. Better dynamics. Quieter instruments and voices don't get lost or drowned easily (post EQ), unless they are outside the E3000's inherent frequency range of course. Better Instrument separation. The Zero's thin instruments, more artifacts can make things sound mashed together at times. This may come as a surprise to some. We assume a more transparent (colder) IEM will have better separation. Tangzu Audio names its products after famous historical figures of ancient China. Storied characters such as Li Shimin, Li Yuan, and Wu Zetian are all IEMs gracing the Tangzu Audio stable. These earphones/IEMs are designed for discerning music lovers. If you are someone who cares about audio quality deeply, you'll want a pair of earphones/IEMs like these. You can expect them to present a Hi-Fidelity listening experience.

In some songs like Zaalima the Instruments separation is bit weak but in other songs instruments separation is good These earphones/IEMs are designed to present how audio tech, typically associated with listening to music, can be used for two-way communications. The Salnotes Zero is an excellent value for its price range. It outperforms other IEMs in the same price range by a significant margin. The sound quality, build quality, and design all make the Salnotes Zero stand out from its competition. The mid-bass hits with quite a good punch, though in terms of quality, it is on the slower side; there’s smearing noted in complex bass movements. Texturing is below average; unfortunately, there is mid-bass bleed, with an undefined bass heard. Midrange
