When he’s not paying off a loan to Tom Nook, Liam likes to report on the latest Nintendo news and admire his library of video games. His favourite Nintendo character used to be a guitar-playing dog, but nowadays he prefers to hang out with Judd the cat. And guess maybe a good thing more variants being produced. Could be either Nintendo doesn’t plan to release Switch successor still for a while (just got my first 7 months ago — so admittedly selfish reason), or maybe compatible going forward to next generation. I have the standard neon ones and the left Joy Con died on me while I was on vacation in Tokyo. That gave me a good excuse to buy the red ones, as I am in Europe and as the article says they are not sold separately here.

I was 2 months expired on my warranty but they did it for free and extended my warranty for an additional 6 months, thought I'd share that for those of you with broken Switches out of warranty. I got grey because I’m an old gamer. Come on Nintendo, release more shades of grey (just not fifty of them) Also I would like a US Super Nintendo themed Joycon set. Love the purple and grey. Wouldn't mind solid purple and solid teal either. My two favorite colors. Released to coincide with the launch of the wonderful Super Mario Odyssey, these red Joy-Con are a great choice for those who wish neon colours were left in the '90s along with dungarees and bum-bags. These red Joy-Con are stylish and yet understated, a perfect choice for someone who wants to express themselves without drawing too much unwanted attention from paparazzi. I have a dumb question. Have that still not fixed the drift yet? Are they selling the same broken hardware in a different color?

I don't much care for the default red and blue. I definitely fall into the owning a set of grey controllers because the Neon set switch was sold out at launch category.I’m holding out on buying a second set because I’m hoping for them to release the Labo cardboard or SNES themed ones. One of the most wonderful things about the Nintendo Switch is the modular design, which allows you to remove your old boring Joy-Con controllers and slide in some new colourful ones to show the world how individual you are. I already have 12 pairs of joy cons and I only use 2 pairs split while playing on the TV laying in bed and the others are on display on my shelf. These are nice so I'll have to get both pairs. The Splatoon 2 joycons are the only ones I didn't like to be honest, I wasn't a fan of the original blue and red controller but the pink and green was just especially off-putting for me. These look really nice! Surprised it took them just over 6 years to cop onto the idea of pastel Joy-Cons but better late than never I suppose, definitely interested in grabbing at least one of these at some point!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is Nintendo using up components before a new console is announced. I have grey from launch and then the neon yellow. It is hard to explain just HOW bright they are until you see them in person. Pretty brilliant. I love them. If you want to add some pastel warmth to your Switch this summer, then the yellow and pink pair are the perfect partners. They make us want to sit at the beach and eat sweets out of a paper bag. Definitely, a fetching pair that'll brighten your Switch up. Pastel Purple / Pastel Green Joy-Con Dear Nintendo (I know you(r) ninjas read everything on the internet), please let us mix & match these (and every other) beautiful Joy-cons when buying a new console...do that and you can add at least a whole quantity of one Switch Oled to your total numbers . Got the Grey with my switch, ended up buying the Super Mario Party Bundle for this Christmas for the Neon Green and Neon Yellow Joy-cons!
All kiddie colors IMO (like most of released already). Thankfully my OLED model was available with white Joycons. Had to send my Switch in for a repair (overheating, fan sounded like a motorcycle) so I sent my left joycon with it, I'm sure it'll be fine after that.
