This radio is built to IPX4 protection rating meaning that it is weather proof, the 4 rating means that it is protected against water splashes from all angles, this allowing for it to be used when raining or snowing. Should lighting conditions be poor in the environment you are in then the T82 has a built in LED torch, this activated by the press of a button allows for the user to see where they are whilst completing an activity. The T82 Extreme gives you free communications because it does not require subscriptions or licenses. With the T82 Extreme,you can create caller groups, and this can be set up with all callers collectively. Each group member has a group identifier which displays on the screen, as well as the name of the group.
