About this deal

The Miele TriFlex HX1 is clearly a high-quality vacuum cleaner. It’s well made, comfortable to use – especially for floor cleaning – it cleans well and battery life is decent. The flexibility of its 3-in-1 design brings something genuinely useful to the table, allowing for more comfortable cleaning that’s easy on the wrist. Surprisingly, it was better with shorter five and seven-inch strands but struggled with nine-inch hair.

Staying true to its roots, the Triflex utilizes a wide nozzle at around eleven inches – more than an inch broader than other brands. READ NEXT: Our full round-up of the best vacuum cleaners you can buy Miele Triflex HX2 Pro review: What’s it like to use? The Miele TriFlex HX1 doesn’t quite have the cleaning power to dislodge Dyson as king of cordless vacuum cleaners, but its adaptable layout certainly sets it apart from the crowd. The Triflex HX2 comes in a variety of models, making it easy for you to find a cordless vacuum cleanerthatAside from its struggles with quaker oats, it did well with other types of debris like coffee grounds, sand, and quinoa. Effortlesslymove between all types of floors: Electrobrush automatically adapts for optimum cleaning How does this compare with its rivals? It’s similar to the Bosch Serie 8 cordless vacuum we reviewed last year and better overall than the cheaper Vax Blade 4 but it lags behind the Dyson V8, V10 and V11.

I would not recommend this for cleaning long strands, but it would suffice for shorter strands. Edge cleaning So when I saw this product, I was a bit surprised, but with the growing interest in cordless vacuums, it shouldn’t come as such. The overall score is skewed by its poor performance vacuuming quaker oats. Otherwise, it would have been a higher average. In addition, the Triflex HX1 Power includes an additional rechargeable battery – allowing you to vacuum even the largest of households without the need to take a charging break. The Triflex HX1 includes an additional attachment designed to remove stubborn pet hair, as well as a Multi-Floor Electrobrush equipped with Brilliantlight, leaving no crevice for dirt to hide. The HX1 Pro is the premium option with the LED-equipped nozzle, which Miele calls the “Multifloor XXL BrilliantLight.” The good news is it deep cleans carpet as well in the middle setting as it does in the max setting, so the 21-minute figure is above-average. How much power does the Miele Triflex HX1 have? However, don’t expect third-party manufacturers to see Triflex components since it isn’t as popular as a Dyson. The Miele TriFlex HX1 has a quoted battery life of up to 60 minutes with no powered brush heads in low power, and up to 17 minutes in high power mode with the powered brush head attached. Charging from empty takes a quoted four hours. In our tests, in Max mode the HX1 lasted 12mins 11secs and in low power mode it ran for 28mins 11secs; the powered cleaning head was attached and running in both tests. While on the subject of the rollers, I was disappointed none of them offer any kind anti-tangle mechanism to keep the roller free of hair. If you live with long-haired people or pets, you’re going to end up getting the scissors out to regularly clean the roller on this vacuum cleaner. On such an expensive device, it’s a major disappointment.

It also comes with an extra battery that doubles the run time from 60 minutes (claimed) to 120 minutes. Dustbin design and capacity This board width enables it to vacuum more debris than a narrower head but at the expense of portability. But with suction-only tools, those figures go down considerably to more bearable levels below 80 decibels. Availability of parts Even with the upright configuration, the Triflex’s dirt volume is below average at only 0.5 liters. Deep cleans well: One surprise doing the tests is how well this product cleans embedded sand in the middle setting. For people who are familiar with vacuum cleaners, Miele is a known brand, particularly with bagged canister vacuums. However, it did not pass the fog test, and there were visible leaks at the exhaust. Cleaning nozzle

Dusting Brush: With an adjustable swivel point and synthetic brushes for extra-gentle cleaning of high-end flooring and furnishings. Protect against scratches and abrasions. This Miele cordless vacuum is perfect for cleaning all over your home, with a choice of three power levels. The Electrobrush allows you to move effortlessly between different types of flooring, including: It comes with a swappable rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which lasts up to a quoted 60 minutes, along with a selection of cleaning attachments, which vary depending on the model you buy. As with most cordless vacuums it’s bagless but the dust collection bin is quite small, so you’ll have to empty it quite frequently.

Miele’s patented 3in1 design 3 adapts to all your cleaning needs—never leaving dust or dirt in the trails of your brush.
