Rapper Bad Bunny will play obscure Spider-Man character El Muerto in one of Sony’s ongoing attempts to build a live action Spidey-centric universe of their own. To date, El Muerto has only appeared in two comics, so we’re not sure where they’re going with this, but sure, why not? But hey, they landed Jonás Cuarón as director, so something is going right here! However, at the moment the film has been pulled from the release schedule to to a combination of strike action and Bad Bunny’s tour commitments. It remains in early development, however. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Eternals, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Hawkeye Iron Man Iron Man: I Am Iron Man! WandaVision writer Megan McDonnell was tapped to write the screenplay for Captain Marvel 2, which now boasts the title of The Marvels. Candyman‘s Nia DaCosta directs. In the sequel to her hugely successful first standalone MCU entry, we find Carol Danvers ( Brie Larson) suddenly swapping places with Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) against her will, with hilarious and very team-up-y results! Considering that Monica was once known as “Captain Marvel” in the comics, that title of The Marvels becomes more appropriate. What If…? Season 2a b Faraci, Drew (September 2, 2015). In October 2019, further corporate restructuring saw Feige named Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment, with Marvel Television becoming part of Marvel Studios and executives of Marvel Television reporting to Feige. [63] In December 2019, Marvel Television was folded into Marvel Studios, with Marvel Studios taking over production of the current series at the time; no further series from Marvel Television were being considered for development. [64] In January 2021, Feige said "never say never" to potentially reviving the Netflix series, but noted Marvel Studios was focused on their new Disney+ series announced at that time. [65] In May 2022, it was revealed that Marvel Studios was developing a new Daredevil series for Disney+, [66] which was announced in July as Daredevil: Born Again. [31] Other media expansion

The MCU Fantastic Four movie is finally happening! And here’s everything we know about it: WandaVision‘s Matt Shakman is directing, taking the place of the MCU Spider-Man trilogy’s Jon Watts, who left the project early on. Virtual unknowns Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer were originally tasked with writing the script, but recently Josh Friedman ( Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) took the reigns, so it looks like this might be a more serious affair than first envisioned.
