To the north west of the village is Thrybergh Park, in which is situated a grade II listed country house, built around 1820 by John Webb. The house is built of ashlar sandstone, with a roof of Welsh slate. To improve the facilities at Thrybergh Country Park the existing café will be replaced with a larger café, retail and visitor centre which will include an external terrace to provide outdoor seating with views across the reservoir.
