About this deal

Both characters, Lake and Tyson I loved. You really seen their character development throughout the book. There were times I felt so emotional for both due to struggles they both experienced. A reliable and affordable book tour blog now accepting Tour Host applications: http://irresistiblereadstour.wordpress.com/tour-hosts/ There were a number of typographical errors, and a whole random chapter of The Ritual showed up in the epilogue for some reason.

The author needs to stop making the villain for the heroine a woman related to her. Even when there are evil male figures, it’s always the female ones who are given the evil monologues or the nasty speeches. I loved Tyson in the other books and was expecting more from him but this was so underwhelming. They never had time to bond or form attachment, everyone treated Lake worse than shit (which im noticing is common for all of shantel's fmcs). All her and Ty ever did was to have nasty sex and girlie's suddenly in luv??? Gurl he didn't even do the bare minimum. The plot points in this book felt a bit more complicated and convoluted than others in the series and fell a bit flat for me too. Like it was enjoyable and I did want to know the “whys” of Tyson and how his whole agenda evolved. But it also felt a bit forced and loose at times too. You could literally feel how much he cared deep down for her, even when it wasn't showing 😍. He is absolutely swoonworthy!!Can we say long game? Tyson played the long game plotting his ultimate revenge with skill and strategy. I love how Shantel can leave tiny bread crumbs in the beginning of her books. Just small things like, someone takes a call but you don't know who it is, and then it isn't mentioned again.. until the end and all the peices fall into place. She ALWAYS ties up everything. She wrote this so beautifully! star because I liked Tyson's character in the 3 books... AND 0.5 stars for the messy plot... that was just dragged out.. and parts were confusing/not properly explained, also 100% needed editing/condensing)

HIS LADYA Lord is to marry after he graduates from Barrington University, an elite college for the rich. A Lady’s job is to help him fit into a world unaware of his secret society. The Lord does not get to choose who he spends the rest of his life with. But there is always an exception to the rule. And I just so happen to be his.I VOW. YOU VOW. WE VOW.I was to wed a Lord of my parents’ choosing. Wealth can’t buy you everything, or I would have had freedom years ago. Instead, my strict parents made sure I lived a dull life in a mansion resembling a prison. But on my wedding day, I was handed over to another man–an even more ruthless Lord that my family hated. Tyson Riley Crawford only wanted me for his revenge. I’m nothing more than a debt to be paid. I didn’t have a say in the matter. So when I said my vows before the congregation, I knew I’d break them. Consequences be damned.Too bad I underestimated my husband and didn’t realize he was more determined to punish me than I was to succeed at escaping. He’ll make me choke on those words I used to bind myself to him.Yet even he couldn’t have seen what our future held. Ultimately, we’re all just pawns in a game that none of us can win unless you’re willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice … and even that may not be enough. The Sacrifice by Shantel Tessier – eBook Details Four: I love that all the main characters from this series (Ritual, Sinner and Sabotage) are still very much central and present in this story. Like, oh hey, the whole gangs here! Strap up! Tyson, although out for revenge, is a master of secrets, and you better believe that we are kept in the dark for as long as possible and it's thrilling! I was so hyped to finally read Tyson's story! He was just as brutal, secretive, and maddening as I thought he would be, and I loved him for it! I didn't love Lake as the FMC, though. There were parts where she was a total badass, and I was like, HELL YEA GIRL, but then she kind of fell flat for me.Amazing story! Fantastic way to wrap up loose ends from previous stories with our Lords and Ladies. I think the main problem is that I just can't get along with this world and the customs and everything that goes with it. For me it is just too extreme and often too much . . . Men like Tyson Crawford need a sacrifice, and he’s made me realize that I’d willingly be that for him”

In short, I thought there were a ton of disconnects. Between the plot, the characters, the build up. There were multiple scenes that I thought didn’t make sense in relation to the book. I won’t say how I would have liked the characters to be, because this is not my work and I respect that this is how Shantel envisioned her characters, but for me, it was a miss. Needless to say, it was hard for me to finish this book. It wasn’t keeping my attention. Which really was a let down for me, because I was ready for Tyson. I was definitely super excited to read Tyson’s story cause I had anticipated his story ever since the Ritual due to his mysterious, charismatic, and Exhibtionistic nature. In The Sacrifice, we find another side of Tyson where we explore his past and his relationship with the Lords, and we finally get a better understanding of it.But on my wedding day, I was handed over to another man—an even more ruthless Lord that my family hated. Answer the questions (What is your age and two of your favorite dark books?) that accompany your request to join. I do feel like the ending was rushed through and wasn't explained well. Some of the reasoning behind certain characters' actions aren't explained well, and I wish we got a bit more.
