I'm interested in a wall-mount sax stand and thought I'd resurrect this thread. I've tried the avenues suggested above with no results thus far... can't find a straight-up wall mount or even a pegboard wall mount (less desireable to me... I have a lath-and-plaster wall that could support a sax directly easily, and don't like the look of pegboard). Anyone else know of anything like this? Saxophone stands are more important than you might think. I learnt this as a guitarist, when my 3-year-old decide to walk into a cheap guitar stand. Problem was that the stand was holding an expensive guitar, but fortunately it was just a guitar not a saxophone. Still it made me think that 3-year olds are no more dangerous than drunken punters on a gig. So I looked around for a 3 year-old proof saxophone stand, especially as I had a gig coming up on the bass saxophone. BUT, before we got to where we wanted the retail hangers to be, we had a few made which turned out to be unsuitable for retail hanger use. (The tabs were too small etc etc.) Anyway we had some holes put in them so we could fix them to the wall here in our workshop for putting saxes on the WALL. We used some large screws and wall plugs. The hangers are able to take any of our pegs, be it alto/tenor or soprano or set list stand. We use this idea a lot in our workshop as it give us a place to put sheet music on the wall.
