Lightly and soft, yet longevity are so long (12hrs it still lingers on your skin), but poor sillage, spray on your clothes can help to show more smell I am one of those mad (and perhaps annoying) people who likes to smell good at the gym - I don't mean head to toe in Shalimar, but I do always tend to spritz a small amount of something beachy or sporty on. If you're mad like me, I would say this frag is perfect for the gym. It's no more whiffy than clothes washed with fabric softner, or dryer sheets, or spray deodorant. Overall, I quite like it but for the price I'd rather spend it on something else. It's way too soft (even softer than Burberry Brit Rhythm, which is already very soft on me) and if I want the cleanness, I can just take an extra shower and emerge with the same clean smell on me at a bargain price. Still, for those of you who like fragrance that doesn't attract attention and is quite safe, this might just be for you. I love to spray this on my pillows and sheets before I go to sleep; I find it very comforting and relaxing.

I find the lasting power to be fine, though because I love the smell so much, I touch up over the day, especially if I've been running around. I imagine if someone hugged me they'd feel secure and warm, safe and happy. It's how I feel wearing it. I think while I love my niche fragrances and scents that have character and romance, like Hypnotic Poison and Poeme and L'Artisan, I really love natural, earthy smells too... things that lend themselves to various scenarios and settings. If you cut "Lavender" out and put "Citrus" more, then it's gonna be "Philosophy Amazing Grace", really their smell are so similar in the way of another compounding note like musky, white flowers etc.

But when i pulled on a pad, a whole tread of roots and more pads came along, including a precious flower. This is very much a morning fragrance for me so I don't mind that it only lasts an hour or 2 because then I'm able to wear something else later in the day without a lingering soapy scent. I just received this perfume a few days ago and it is NOTHING like I thought it would be! I was under the impression it would smell like a nice, clean, creamy soap. Kinda like a bar of Dove soap. Not at all. To me this smells so, so similar to Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc. I get a lot of that same citrusy coconut vibe that SB has. Almost verging on a citrus cleaner or bug spray.

Lavender note is not too sharp, it just act in the way giving this perfume an "Aromatic" kind of, yet person who doesn't like "Strong Aromatic scent" or hate "Strong lavender scent" can use it Ignore the above votes that say this reminds them of Jennifer Aniston's debut perfume. It smells NOTHING like it. Absolutely nothing. The scent by "Clean," I've never smelled but I would bet money that it smells identical to that one. But not Jennifer Aniston. If lavender soap and Coppertone had a baby. I loved the sample vial I got and bought the full bottle, but the full bottle smelled quite different. It's still very clean and fresh, but more detergenty.The situation that you wanna look friendly, not a sweety, like hang out with some guy flirting with you but you're not sure yet that you want him to be boyfriend or just friend In fairness maybe? I do not like lavender in general but I have disliked certain elements in many perfumes and end up loving the combination...when it is right, but this is just so wrong. I have never said this in a review before but a dab, a bit more or a lot; this IS a very offensive scent, I actually would not be able to stay near someone wearing it. For those reasons...it has it's place in my collection. Will usually wear it when I'm running to Laundromat & grocery store on a Sunday or something like that. What can I say...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. pure grace s my favorite lotion to use right after a nighttime shower, it seems i sleep better when i use it before bed.
