About this deal

Welcome to day 3 of #PumpkinWeek hosted by Terri from Love and Confections and Christie from A Kitchen Hoor’s Adventures. Collectively, we are sharing over 140 fantastic pumpkin recipes for all your Fall events. Before I make up this milk tea, I like to create a brown sugar simple syrup to soak the boba in. That recipe is below as well. I love using Dixie Crystal’s Brown Sugar… it has such a rich flavor and dissolves easily. By the way, did you know that chai means tea? Hence why writing pumpkin spice chai tea would mean pumpkin spice tea tea. 😄 ☕ Ingredients

Is bubble tea safe for kids? Tapioca pearls can be a choking hazard for children under 4 because of the size of the pearls. Serve to young kids at your own discretion. Boil the tapioca pearls until they rise to the surface and become chewy, then drain and rinse with cold water. Only make what you need immediately, otherwise the boba will congeal. New Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte join the menu alongside returning fall favorites In a saucepan, mix pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice and cook while stirring for about 3 minutes. Last year, I was really eager to figure out a pumpkin spice version. It wasn’t hard at all, especially with a little added Torani syrup and some canned pumpkin. This is the one I turn to over and over.

Hey!

You may think me lazy not to tell you EXACTLY how much to add, or not to add, but I’m not…the biggest factor here is how strong you want the spices to be, and everyone’s taste is different. Step 5. Fill a tall glass with ice and add tea, almond milk (or milk of choice) and top with pumpkin spice sweet cream and extra pumpkin spice. Pro tips: Brew the Tea Concentrate: Use the stove, microwave, or an electric kettle to heat 1 cup of water to ~200F (just before boiling). Place the tea or tea bags in a mug, pour the water on top, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags (do not squeeze them – this makes the tea bitter), then place the tea in the fridge to cool while you cook the boba. This can be done up to 2 days in advance. Milk – I use whole milk, but you can use low-fat milk too. Whole milk works great because the higher fat quantities in the milk help to extract the spices faster. As always, adding a pinch of salt to whatever you use your spice mix for will make all those amazing flavours sing even louder.

Now for the iced version: Simply add all the ingredients to a blender, blend until smooth and frothy, pour over ice, and enjoy! Make it in a blender, milk frother, or saucepan in 5 minutes with just 4 simple ingredients. Let’s make (pumpkin-spiced) matcha! How to Make a Pumpkin Spice Matcha Latte Add coconut milk and brown sugar and simmer with stirring for around 10-15 minutes until all ingredients are dissolved.Enjoy it any time you’re craving matcha and pumpkin spice and can’t decide between the two! Do you chew boba? Yes! Honestly, it’s half the fun of drinking boba tea! Thanks to tapioca flour (made from cassava/yuca root), boba has the perfect chewy texture. Of course, you don’t have to chew it, but I highly recommend it. Assemble: Add 1/4 cup (60 ml) of brewed tea to each cup, then add in 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree and 2-3 teaspoons of pumpkin spice maple syrup; mix well. Divide the boba between serving glasses (the recipe amount will make 4 cups) and top off with ice, if desired. Pour 1/4-1/2 cup of nondairy milk over the tapioca pearls, depending on how milky you like your tea. Stir well and adjust any flavors to taste. Please see the recipe card further along in the post for exact quantities of ingredients and the full method.

If you don’t want to use pre-made pumpkin spice blend, or it’s not available where you live, you can easily make your own. Pumpkin spice is a mix of ground cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger, and it’s very easy to make it from a scratch. Use a teaspoon of ground ginger, a teaspoon ground nutmeg, 2/3 teaspoon of ground cloves and 4 – 4 ½ teaspoons of ground cinnamon. Substitute one teaspoon of cinnamon with one teaspoon of allspice. Mix them well and place them in an airtight container for future use. Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Recipe If you don’t have a hand held mixer, frother, or blender to whip the sweet cream, you can add the milk to a mason jar and shake vigorously until frothy. This is a very simple recipe – combine your spices together and mix well! You have now made your own delicious Pumpkin Spice Mix. Tips for Success and FAQs: If you would like to cater to a paleo or sugar-free diet, consider using canned pumpkin instead of pumpkin sauce and sweeten the beverage with a natural sweetener, such as stevia or monk fruit extract.

Roasted Veggies--- Sprinkle it on butternut squash, sweet potatoes, or carrots before roasting for a flavorful side dish. A Pumpkin Spice Latte is a popular fall beverage that combines the flavors of pumpkin, milk, and spices such as cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. To make this comforting drink at home, you'll need the following ingredients: The quantity of the recipe is easily adaptable to whatever requirements you have – the recipe yields a small batch of spice, however, works well when doubled or tripled if you love to use this spice mix as much as we do! Tea leave plantations are owned by massive corporations, and the people there barely get paid enough to live a dignified life. For a caffeine-free evening Pumpkin Pie Spice Tea, the best herbal choice is rooibos tea. Rooibos is naturally sweet, warming and rich in antioxidants. It will add much more color to your drink, making it intensely orange, as a real pumpkin drink should be. Where to buy pumpkin tea?Pumpkin pie spice is a popular spice blend in North America that has taken over the world by storm. Originally, this zesty spice blend was used to season pumpkin pie, hency why the name. Once I started making it at home, I realized how much better it tasted. Now, I always keep a double batch on hand. Why, you might ask? Well, it's all about control-- Just like when I make my homemade lemon pepper seasoning or cajun seasoning, I like to have control of my spice blends. I load up on cinnamon + ginger, add a touch of allspice, nutmeg and cloves for that extra oomph—store-bought blends can be a bit of a wild card, and I prefer to know exactly what's in my spice mix! Enjoy this fall refresher anytime you’re craving a cozy drink this season! All of the flavors of chai and pumpkin pie spice infused into a creamy bubble tea that is delicious on its own or with a sweet treat. And since you’ll only need half a cup of pumpkin puree for this recipe, put that leftover puree to good use and make these Pumpkin & Chai Spiced Donuts or these Healthy Pumpkin Truffles , or keep it simple and delicious with this 3-Ingredient Pumpkin Butter ! HOW TO STORE PUMPKIN CHAI BUBBLE TEA In contrast, a Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte combines the flavors of both pumpkin spice and chai lattes, creating a dessert-like drink.
