About this deal

Yes, it is a high foaming product that allows the user to see where they have agitated the product to minimise chances of ‘missing a bit’. However, although this product has greater cleaning power, its foam does not have the density and cling time of our pre-wash product - Polar Blast. Although it might seem like the perfect opportunity to wash your car when the sun is shining, make sure it isn’t too hot to touch. If the bodywork is hot, the shampoo can dry out on the car.

Use Autoglym’s Clean Wheels to shift those stubborn baked-on deposits! Made to be tough on grime yet kind on the alloy itself, Clean Wheels is safe to use on lacquered alloys, painted and plastic wheel trims. Having sprayed on the foam, leave it for the recommended length, usually about five to 10 minutes. Following this, you rinse it all off. Now it’s shampooing time. Does my snow foam gun matter? Ensure your car is still damp before applying Polar Seal and allowing it to dwell on the bodywork for up to three minutes before singing off. You should see an immediate hydrophobic layer of protection, evident with some truly gorgeous water beading. It's an incredibly easy way to get some extra protection, the only downside being that you can't apply Polar Seal to a windscreen, which means some careful trigger action. As far as car shampoos go, the performance of Autoglym’s Polar Wash was good. It helped to effectively remove the remaining contaminants from the paintwork, ready for the next stage. Foam Levels (9/10)Last but not least, remember to use some interior protection! Apply Autoglym’s Vinyl And Rubber Care solution to the interior by lightly buffing to a finish with a microfibre cloth. If your vehicle only has very light soiling and you are using in place of shampoo. Please rinse vehicle first before applying Polar Blast. You can either allow to dwell and rinse without agitation or agitate with a sponge or wash mitt prior to rinsing. Polar Wash has been designed specifically for use through a pressure washer. We would recommend our other shampoos for hand washing methods. We would recommend that only the product needed for a single application is used. We also recommend that the foamer bottle is rinsed thoroughly after use. It’s easy to see snow foam as an alternative to shampoo and a replacement for traditional cleaning when it’s actually designed as a supplement. That’s not to say there are snow foams capable of washing a car, but it’s not the best course of action. What should I look for in a good snow foam?

I’ve got a million things going on. Yes, I want the car to look less abandoned, but I’m pretty keen to keep what’s left of the paint protected. To do it justice will take hours, possibly days, which I simply don’t have. So I want something that is reasonably swift but also low input. The less sponging, the better. I’m hoping the multi-stage approach will limit the physical effort I have to put in. Lasting Results We would strongly recommend not using more than 40ml Polar Seal and 200ml water. Over use may cause white spotting and significantly compromise the effectiveness of Polar Seal. Using more product will not improve the depth of shine or increase its durability. Polar Blast is a Pre-Wash product that aids the removal of heavy dirt from the paintwork. It gently loosens and softens contaminants and does not require agitation. Polar Wash is the next stage of the process – the shampoo. It has more cleaning power that can get to work on removing traffic film once Polar Blast has removed the larger particles of contamination. No it isn’t. However it will not remove Extra Gloss Protection, Waxes or sealants; such as LifeShine. As you might expect with any Autoglym product, it did exactly what it said on the bottle. If you’re looking for a magic potion that will leave your car looking like it belongs on a dealership forecourt after one spray, mitt and rinse then you’re in the wrong place. But as far as performing like any other stage 2 washing agent, the Autoglym Polar Wash didn’t put a foot wrong.Polar Seal is a very protective coating that has been specially formulated for application through a pressure washer with a foam gun. It imparts a hydrophobic layer onto paintwork that causes water to bead on the surface which reduces the time it takes to dry the vehicle. Simply spray onto a clean, wet surface, rinse off and dry to leave behind a durable, high gloss finish. Features & Benefits: Stage 1: Polar Blast = Snowfoam. pH neutral, apply with pressure washer, leave to dwell for 5 mins or so, rinse off. This removes the loose dirt and helps soften dirt, some of which can then be removed with a high pressure rinse. We recommend starting with a snow foam like Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt, and follow with Polar Wash to remove any dirt or contamination on your paintwork. Like Autoglym, Nilfisk has taken a three-step approach with its snow foams, but the difference here is that you get all three in the same box set, which is claimed to be good for around 20 full treatments. We like the foolproof "add a capful to your foamer bottle and top up with water" instructions for use, and cleaning results were pretty good – if not quite up to the standard set by Bilt-Hamber's excellent Touch-Less. Polar Wash can be used at various dilutions depending on the density of foam desired. However, we would not recommend using a dilution stronger than 50:50. Adjust foam gun settings as required to increase or reduce foam. 250ml of mixed solution should be enough to cover an average sized car.
