About this deal

My first impression when opening the box was “Whoa.” The eye-catching colors are very loud and vibrant. I love that about them. I’ve been wearing a lot of neutral-colored running shoes and these have been a good change-up. Just looking at them gives you more energy. You’ll love how lightweight they feel coming in at 6.9oz for women and 7.9 oz for men. And having a 5mm heel drop makes this neutral running shoe a very stable one. Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 3 - The latest update to the React Infinity dials in all the elements Speaking of the technology this shoe has to offer, you’ll get FF BLAST™ cushioning, GUIDESOLE® technology, AHARPLUS™ outsole, and a seamless engineered mesh upper. This shoe is designed with speed and comfort in mind – we’ve spent hours testing it at our Institute of Sports Science (ISS) in Japan. The NOOSA TRI™ 15 running shoe includes additional technical features to support you during your runs.

DPT/Footwear Science: A- (Firmness of the midsole and secure upper creates a snappy shoe to be used for a variety of runs from race to recovery)Comparing it to last year’s model. This year the weight 218g which is 1g less than last year. The drop stays at 5mm and the midsole material is the same as mention above FLYTEFOAM. It will be an AHAR, high abrasion-resistant rubber, which will be ideal for roads and hard surfaces. DPT/Footwear Science: A- ( I like the direction/hybrid of taking familiar midsole ingredients but providing relatively new experiences with the ride of the shoe) A similar shoe in the same family is the ASICS Evo Ride 3’s or the Glide Ride 3’s. Both are part of the Guidesole series.

I bought the Aquarium/Vibrant Yellow color but they come in 5 other crazy color patterns that are all equally bright. My colorway is said to be inspired by Van Gogh’s paintings. Which I thought was a cool little tidbit. LINDSAY: Step aside, Van Gogh. The Asics design team is here with its very own spin on post-impressionism. The Asics Noosa Tri 15 features bold colors with energetic and expressive stroke patterns, much like Van Gogh’s artistic style. It sure is eye-catching, and while I thought it was just too much at first, I have really grown to love this style. The updated midsole impressed our testers, and they praised it for its balance of protection and responsiveness, along with its highly versatile usability. Our team enjoyed shorter daily efforts as well as longer runs, and they even liked the Noosa Tri in the gym. Its ability to handle various paces was impressive, as the Noosa Tri felt smooth at slower paces and snappy at faster ones, giving our testers everything they needed for a variety of training runs. Stability: B+ ( Traction throughout could be better and the amount of exposed foam could be filled a tad to round out the shoe stability wise) David: The ASICS Noosa Tri 14 is a neutral performance trainer and does not have any specific stability features. With that said it does a pretty good job throughout integrating some stability. The geometry and firmness of the shoe hold its geometry well and does seem to keep a sense of being grounded throughout the whole ride. There are some sidewalls created by the midsole that help provide a small amount of guidance while transitioning into the midfoot as well. The outsole does not provide the greatest traction though off of road and I did notice myself slipping a tad and not fully trusting the shoe when in dirt situations. For being a lightweight neutral performance trainer the Noosa does a pretty good job and I can't be mad with the results.
