It’s not the easiest to play, but it’s definitely too hard to play either. Will get a beginner started. Les Paul Special II string action usually hits a sweet spot out of the box and adjusting it is easy. So, you don’t need too much extra effort to press strings. Of course, if you are just starting out you always need to build your finger strength.
