If you are generally happy with the fit, leave the helmet on for a good length of time to ensure it is not pressing in places that are not immediately apparant. If a helmet is really pressing on your forehead this can sometimes cause a headache over time so it may be worth trying another size or brand. The drop-down sun-shield is operated by a slider on the left, behind the visor mechanism – it’s simple to use and the shield stops just above my nose. In practice, the effectiveness of this will depend very much on the shape of your face; I found the Scorpion grips naturally well around the bottom of my head, and inflating the sides just added a little unwanted pressure. Noise might be reduced a little for some riders, but I didn’t notice a difference.A poorly fitting helmet may not only be uncomfortable, more noisy and may move around when riding if too big or give headaches etc if it is too small, it is also dangerous. A helmet simply will not protect or perform as designed if the head inside it is not snuggly fitted against the impact absorbing material inside the shell. The interior is shaped to fit glasses, and I’ve got on well with mine, though some frames seem better than others– try yours to make sure they’re comfortable. The helmet should sit on the head evenly with the eye port's upper edge sitting just above the eyebrows and have good peripheral vision available to see side-to-side

Our Helmets are sent out in Brand New boxes, items clearly damaged in transit should not be accepted as once signed for, are accepted as delivered complete and undamaged . Helmet City cannot be held responsible for any damage discovered after the item has been signed for. Three shell sizes are used across XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL, so the lid shouldn’t ever look too large – cheaper helmets using one or two shell sizes have to be big enough to accommodate the largest size, so can look clumsy on a smaller head.
