Finally, scatter the top with the grated cheese (100g | 1 Cup) and pop straight into the oven. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes until the cheese has melted and just started to turn golden. Then tip the tuna sweetcorn pasta mixture into the air fryer silicone cooking liner and then top with the grated Cheddar cheese.

Next top the tuna pasta sweetcorn mixture with the ricotta cheese. Be sure to give the cheese a good stir through first as it makes it easier to spread on top of the pasta bake. If you can’t get worcestershire sauce or mushroom ketchup, try adding 1 – 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar instead for a deeper flavour. It may surprise you to know that I’ve not always liked tuna pasta bake. In fact, it’s something I’ve only recently begun to eat thanks to my husband. An easy pasta bake with tuna and creamy tomato sauce, all topped off with lots of lovely cheddar cheese! This is a great dish to serve to a crowd. Simple to make and you can even prep it ahead.

Choose the right type of pasta. I wouldn’t make this with noodles or thin flat-shaped pasta as the sauce will slide off to the bottom of your baking dish, resulting in dried out pasta and a pool of sauce at the bottom. If you have a single air fryer basket, you may need to make the recipe in two batches. Step Three – air fry the pasta bake Mushroom Ketchup (Optional) – I only add this as I have it in my cupboards.
