Control convenience: I like the slide on-off switch. Volume and talk buttons are where I expect them to be and are easy enough for even MY fat fingers to manipulate with confidence. It works for me. The speaker is loud enough for regular use as someone with less than stellar hearing, i can hear everything perfectly fine even with a small amount of noise, like say the sound of frying something in a pan in the kitchen, but with too much wind or traffic noise it can be difficult to hear. I wish it's maximum volume was a little higher, but they probably don't want people damaging their hearing with it anyways.

I bought a 2nd and a 3rd headset in the last 3 months.. Bought headset 2 as a replacement for headset 1 (sad for a while, then found it after I bought my 3rd piece..).Range -- I didn't measure it, but more than once I have found out I've forgotten my phone charging on my desk when I'm IN MY CAR and my headset says "Phone 1 Disconnected". For absent-minded me, this is a godsend. It also means the range is pretty impressive. I'm not talking hundreds of meters here, but definitely between five and ten. Again, didn't measure it. But I can put my phone on the charger and walk around my apartment like some executive hotshot on the Plantronics. Impressive stuff, that.

It's relatively sturdy, for something so small and light. The ear hook being so thin and rotating like it does, it feels like it could break off, but it hasn't despite a little rough treatment, and it's actually very flexible plastic. Nothing in this warranty modifies or excludes your legal rights under the Australian Competition and Consumer Act or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.During the charging process, the LED indicator on the headset should light up, indicating charging. If the red LED does not light up, try using a different USB cable or power source.
