About this deal

To scare away threats, there's an integrated spotlight and loud siren that gets triggered by motion or noises The resolution is a bit of a double-edged sword here. Because it’s only 1080p, the HomeBase can store more footage of the Eufycam 2 than it can of the Eufy Video Doorbell that has a 2K resolution. The downside, of course, is that there’s slightly less detail in the 1080p footage. It’s not enough to blur essential details, but it does make it slightly harder to identify faces at longer distances. It works with voice assistants , so you can just ask Alexa or Google Assistant to show you who's at the front door What is the battery life and capacity? From a single 5 hour charge receive 180 days of battery life. The battery capacity is 6700mAh.

I installed these on monday evening. I and writing this review Wednesday morning. One camera has a dead battery already. After being fully charged. Lasted 36hours. I have 2 cameras in total install. Both have the same settings. Not impressed with the battery. Currently charging the battery and we will see how long it last. The temperature is last 2 days have been around -10 Celsius. Cameras are install outside. On the house. Saskatchewan. Canada Resolution and Image Quality: Opt for a house camera system with a 1080p or higher resolution and good image quality to ensure clear and detailed footage. That being said, a key component of its wireless-ness is the included HomeBase that comes in the box. The HomeBase looks like an all-white wireless router – it’s fairly plain but still a bit bulky. That’s ironic, of course, because you’ll need to connect it to a router and will find all the wires to do so inside the box. My 1 orginal camera and my new replacement are working flawless. The motion detection works well. But the geo fencing not great at times... I have updated my rating to 4 stars because the new camera works as advertised. And the costumer service for the replace was a great experience As of right now, I have the two EufyCams mounted, the 2K video doorbell, home base, a few windows sensors, and the wireless keypad.Video quality is good, not 4k good but good. It does get blurry when zooming in, and when it takes a picture of someone's face. The good news here is that there is no overhead to any Eufy camera. You buy it, you own it and you can manage it all without ever having to pay a subscription fee. I don’t get any false alarms. With all the tests I’ve made, I am not missing any real alarms neither.

The picture is extremely clear and colourful in the day. Infrared works very well for night time viewing and recording. I have a 2k indoor Eufy camera which is slightly better in picture, but not enough difference to worry about. I can hear everything outside well. Haven’t tried talking to anyone with two way microphone. I think Eufy tends to offer the advanced features I want, including up to 2K video, high-quality night sensors, a year's battery life without worry, and high-speed connections. If that doesn't appeal to you or you already have a good enough system, that's OK too. For the price it's really unbelievable. My biggest concern is the battery. I personally have many anker products, which is the parent company to eufy, so the battery should last a long time. I just don't know how long until it or the entire camera needs replaced.

Are two 1080p cameras enough to protect your home? You'd be surprised...

The built in mic and speakers are great. You can hear everything around and whom ever you are speaking with can clearly hear you. No, playing music isnt an option. The cameras are easy to set up and are weatherproof too, so they'll keep on working even in the rain and snow
