What is a good mix with gin? From my testing gin tends to go well with fruit juices. You can do pineapple and orange for a fruity and tropical version. Or if you like something more tart you can mix with grapefruit juice. Experiment with different juices and see what you like best. Cranberry Sauce – Homemade. My cranberry sauce has tart, juicy whole cranberries and a sweet flavoured syrup with plenty of orange. When you make it, reserve a few fresh berries to freeze and use as decoration when you come to bottle the gin.
