About this deal

They meet again 5 years later but are so stunned by the turn of events , it tears their hearts......so did mine On top of all that it's a romance that is set in a political world with a heroine being in a relationship with the president. There are a lot of secrets surrounding their affair and ultimately they will be revealed. Perhaps Embry's always had the part of me that wielded the sword, but she... she's always owned the part that wears the crown. The varied points of views created so many layers, opening revelations and shrouding mystery at the same time. I am a conflicted pile of feelings I can’t even begin to articulate. I felt hate and love and betrayal and trust and loyalty and lies all at the same time! And not just over the course of one, or even two chapters; it spanned over the course of the entire series. I highlighted so much; I’ve had a hard time deciding which to include in this review. The sharp-eyed granddaughter of a former vice president, Greer is well-versed in politics and people—but not romance. Not when she is warned to keep her kisses to herself. Except her first kiss goes to the man who will one day lead the country, war hero Maxen Ashley "Ash" Colchester, and her second goes to his best friend and future vice president, Embry Moore. When the three collide in the Oval Office many years later, the unsaid words between them leave Greer breathless and burning.

Told from Greer's (our female protagonist) perspective, American Queen spans 18 years with Simone cleverly transitioning past and present. Greer's voice is intelligent- bold even- and at many instances, I wished to simply crawl inside her mind. I liked her a lot and was rooting for her all through! American King is the third and final book in the New Camelot series. It is full of angst, tension, secrets, lies, and love. Sit here, so I can whisper in your ear. Want a cup of coffee? No? All right. Let me get to the point. I loved every second of this book (this trilogy) and if Sierra told us she was writing 3 more books I probably would drop to my knees in thanks. What a descriptive journey we go on! A journey of love in so many different colors that once you finish this fantastic book, you must dive into American Prince…which is where I am headed NOW!!! It's written so well,Sierra explores the difficult terrain of the Heart and mind with élan ! She delves into a very tough relationship and full marks to her to justify it so beautifully and showing us , it is acceptable to love all . And Ash? He wasn't even a real Dom, he was just a man who enjoyed hurting and humiliating his partners - men or women ... God, if it was a true story and he was really the president, I would write this review sitting in a shelter!!! 😂😂😂 American Queen, told from Greer’s POV, will be followed by books from Maxen and Embry’s POVs. It’s an unconventional and forbidden love triangle. Center stage a commanding, devious, secretive, conflicted yet ruthless Maxen Ashley Colchester. Embry finds Greer in tears on the street. He is enchanted with her. They form an instant and lasting connection of love consummated by a night of mind bending passion. On this night they both share a secret, in fact it is the same secret but neither one of them knows.

Hello Angst, my old friend. All the suspense and astonishing revelations blew my mind, and my poor heart could barely handle the amount of stirring moments. I was destroyed. And I liked it. Yes, definitely! Stephanie Rose does an incredible job narrating all of the characters so perfectly and distinctly! This book was crazy hot, but also keeps the listener engaged and curious to find out what's going to happen next. Sierra’s writing is amazing. She paints a clear picture of all the characters, and is able to convey the complexity of their emotions without rambling or feeling over dramatic. Moreover, although the sex scenes take a large part of the book, they mostly complement the story and emphasize the power exchange between the three characters. They are acts of devotion, love and internal need which require gratification. Here’s what I LOVED: The biggest win here for me is the storyline, but I also liked the main characters. Ash is a strong dominate force, Greer is smart and brave enough to go after what she wants, but Embry stole my heart. He's beautifully tortured and selfless. I can't wait for book two, which will be told from his perspective.

As a reader, I have been entertained with depictions of menage in other books. However, I never felt the moving love story of the principles within the tale. This story opened my eyes and educated my heart about different ideas of love and sex. The possibility of impossibly all hard and tough male falling in love with hard and tough male. The duality inside each of these characters. Each lover in the menage a trois grabbing their own personal satisfaction selfishly and giving satisfaction generously. Oh how this book haunted me for days after I read it! I was not able to write this review immediately; so, this story continued to swim around in my head and not without some delightful memories of the scenes this "conjurer" of an author wrote. More than the uber-sexy, leaving you dry-mouthed hot, hawt, hot erotica were the ideas presented in her compelling and in-depth examination of this modern day "King Arthur" from centuries-old legend...this Arthurian legend which has fascinated readers for as long as it has been told and retold.

The passion exemplified in this book is sensual and raw. It’s an emotional journey that left me panting for more. I will refrain from discussing all the elements of the Arthurian legend that I found fascinating because no one wants to read a dissertation in book review format, right? I will only say, that they are many, true to form, and very well done. I’ll sum up my likes by saying this book is smartly written, raw, gripping, articulate, masterly executed, and entertaining. It’s all the things a great love story should be. The two men, the President and the Vice President both want each other, they are attracted to each other and they are equally that way with the heroine. It's a bit of a heavy feeling. And this book, in particular, even made me cry... I guess it was because by the time this third installment released I was already fully in love with these characters. She has turned the love of three souls from a taboo into a love of such epic proportion that you can't help but pray that they survive. You can't help but hope that you get to see their future. I wept so much, fell in love so hard with these characters- For their love for each other and the sacrifices they had to endure along the way. His hand tightened in my hair, his pupils widened, and for one perfect moment, I thought he was going to kiss me.”My love for the two of you exists inside your love for each other—when you love each other, you are loving me. I devoured this series within a day. A DAY! I am not ashamed to say that I skipped my classes and binged read all three books. And HOLY BATMAN!!!! How did I not read the first two books before this one came out is beyond me. Stupid girl! The way that the polyamorous relationship is handled. This is a big one for me. It feels as though Embry is left on the sidelines most of the time, and not a true equal in their relationship. Greer and Ash privately admit that they would always choose each other over Embry, which didn't sit right with me. From growing up, Greer has lived with her Grandfather, attended social functions with him from a young age learning the ropes of listening, becoming a spy of sorts for her grandfather and how to smile and say thank-you. Fast forward a few years, Greer is quite an expert in reading peoples faces from the groundwork she has done for her grandfather.
