About this deal

The Jon Favreau figure looks to be a companion of sorts to last year's Trapper Wolf figure. Though that toy wasn't specifically marketed as a Dave Filoni figure, it does feature the likeness of Favreau's The Mandalorian collaborator, who occasionally plays the New Republic pilot in the series. Previously, Hasbro released Star Wars figures depicting George Lucas as a Stromtrooper and concept artist Ralph McQuarrie as "General McQuarrie." Playing two different, yet vital characters to the storyline was incredible… to become Paz Vizsla, though… wow. What a galvanizing character that really exposes the ferocity and dignity with which we hold the Code of the Mandalorians." ―Tait Fletcher [22] Celebrate the creator of Star Wars: The Mandalorian with this Jon Favreau figure, dressed as Paz Vizsla. Favreau voices this brawny Mandalorian warrior, bringing his unique passion and vision to a galaxy far, far away With Kryze and her Mandalorian followers defying the Empire, [11] the larger faction carried out the Great Purge of Mandalore, heavily bombing the surface of the planet and massacring many Mandalorians in what became known as the Night of a Thousand Tears. [5] Vizsla and other followers of the ancient way had been on Mandalore's moon of Concordia, and so survived the onslaught of the Night. The remaining Mandalorians subsequently scattered throughout the galaxy thereafter [5] and hid in Mandalorian coverts to preserve their numbers. During the reign of the New Republic, Vizsla resided with the Tribe in a covert [6] on the planet Nevarro. [12] Due to the Great Purge, the Tribe's members were forced to remain hidden in their enclave, [6] with Vizsla guarding the armory within as a heavy infantry Mandalorian. [13] In around 9 ABY, [2] Vizsla witnessed the Mandalorian bounty hunter [6] Din Djarin [14] enter the covert with a camtono of beskar. Vizsla and several other Mandalorians watched as Djarin gave the beskar to the Tribe's Armorer [6] and leader, [1] intending to have armor forged from it. [6] Babu, Armaan (December 2, 2019). " 'The Mandalorian' star Emily Swallow talks about The Armorer and importance of keeping traditions of Mandalore alive". MEA Worldwide. Archived from the original on December 2, 2021 . Highly articulated with a fully poseable head, arms, and legs, this Star Wars Paz Vizsla collector figure can be displayed in action figure and vehicle collections I was there on Nevarro that night. I fought against Greef Karga and his hunters. I saw my brothers and sisters fall at the hands of the Imperial butchers that hunted us in the sewers. I saw many die to save the life of this one, tiny foundling. And now we are asked to sacrifice yet again. The question we should be asking ourselves is, "Why? Why should we lay our lives down yet again?" Because we are Mandalorians! I have had my disagreements with this man, but he risked his life to save my son. And Bo-Katan Kryze did not give up on my child's life even when the rest of us did. These two are asking us to take up arms in the name of a brighter future, and I for one will take up arms to fight by their side. This is the Way!" ―Paz to the Mandalorians [19]

Character-inspired Accessories: This Star Wars The Vintage Collection action figure comes with 3 accessories Paz Vizsla is a brawny warrior encased in the strongest beskar armor. A descendant of the esteemed House Vizsla, he comes from a long line of leaders spanning the centuries However, Vizsla has a respect for both his tribe and Mandalorian culture that supersedes his feelings of distaste toward the Empire. He willingly steps down from his confrontation with Din Djarin when the tribe's leader, the Armorer, reminds them of the moral code and way of the Mandalorian people. [3] Despite their differences, Vizsla and Djarin display a mutual respect for each other. [6] [18] This is demonstrated when Vizsla places his own safety and that of his tribe at risk to help Djarin at the end of "Chapter 3: The Sin". [6] When Djarin notes that this would place the sanctuary of the tribe's enclave at risk, Vizsla responds with the clan's credo, "This is the Way". Snowden called this "a genuine lump-in-the-throat moment as the Mandalorian's comrades have sacrificed everything to help the bounty hunter do the right thing".
