About this deal

Hisense could also be spending less on R&D and tuning its TVs. It's not like all these brands put a few components in a thin plastic case and ship them all over the world. Each TV goes through tuning and quality control to make sure the picture and sound look as a good as possible. This is expensive and time-consuming, but how expensive and time-consuming really depends. Hisense could keep costs down by spending less time on this important step. It could be manufacturing them more cheaply. The more efficient a company is at producing a TV, the more cheaply it can sell them while turning a profit. That's why the price of high-end technologies gradually drops. QLED and OLED display were frighteningly expensive at launch, but several years later they are easier to make and more affordable as a result. Practice makes perfect (and cheaper).

High-end Hisense TVs support HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision, while its top-of-the-range OLED sets have HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ too. This puts them right in the mix with the household name TV brands.

What is the price of a Hisense 4K Smart TV 50 inch?

With SDR content it fires on more cylinders. As is Hisense’s trademark, images are delivered with a strong sense of colour – primary colours have the look of children’s colouring book in how punchy they look. Complexions are warmly expressed (perhaps overcooked in some places) but it makes for an attention-grabbing image. Otherwise, it has features you don't normally find on TVs at this price range. It has VRR support, although over the narrow 48-60Hz range. It doesn't support HDR10+ like the more expensive models, but it does have Dolby Vision, which is more widespread. It doesn't support advanced DTS audio formats, but it does support DTS 5.1 over ARC. It has good response time and superbly low input lag, so it's a decent gaming TV overall. Ultimately, this is the best cheap TV on the market, and it's almost as good as the more expensive U6K.

Hisense's prices are lower and its average score is lower, but averages don't always tell the whole story. It doesn't matter where you want it mounted, the screen will deliver a perfect view at the lounge, at the bars or joints, view or game centres, churches and other areas like banking hall. Where to Buy Hisense 65 TVs Online in Nigeria Ports: Port selection is another chief concern. More HDMI ports will let you connect more devices, like game consoles and satellite boxes. And if you have a soundbar, you'll want to connect it using an HDMI port with eARC. The 60Hz panel on the U6K supports variable refresh rate (VRR) and Dolby Vision Gaming, but not AMD FreeSync or Nvidia G-Sync. If you want a 120Hz TV, you’ll have to spend a bit more for the U8H or U8K. That said, the U6K’s gaming performance is responsive. Using an HDFury Diva HDMI matrix, the TV showed an input lag of just 3.7 milliseconds in Game mode, less than half of the 10ms threshold we use to consider a TV to be good for gaming. That's a massive improvement over the U6H, which measured 11.1ms of lag. Make sure you’re in Game mode when you play games, though, because lag jumps to 103.5ms in other modes. This cookie is set by Bazaarvoice. The warranty does not cover any defects caused by foreign objects or connection errors that are not part of the product. The interface is separated into several sections, but apps is where the action is. The app selection is focused rather than bountiful; Netflix has pride of place on the top row and all the UK catch-up apps are covered (as Freeview Play), with Disney+ and Britbox available also. There’s VIDAA Free, which rounds up a selection of free content from the likes of Plex, Vevo, YouTube and Facebook Watch for more options.
