About this deal

Before printing off the Linen or Voile fabric sheets please iron the fabric sheets on both sides first. This ensures the fabric sheets are fresh before being put through the printer. The Silk, Cotton , iron-on cotton fabric sheets do not need to be ironed first. Make sure you place the fabric sheets straight in your printer. If for any reason they catch on the sides of the printer you can use your finger to gently encourage the correct feed direction. If you have any further problems feeding the fabric through your printer you can attach and fold over a strip of masking tape along the leading edge to make the fabric sheet more secure. In most cases this is not necessary. Cotton jersey refers to sheets made from cotton fabric that is knit rather than woven. Cotton jersey is essentially the same fabric used in cotton T-shirts, so you will like them if you enjoy the feel of soft cotton T-shirts. Besides its quality material, this set was also beloved for its convenience features, like its side envelope-closure pillowcases, "top" and "bottom" tabs on the fitted sheet and generous sizing that fits even tall mattresses. Just note that while the set is made of organic cotton, without proper certification, we weren't able to verify that the entire production process follows organic standards. Not only are our Sheeting Fabrics perfect for your bedroom environment, they are particularly useful in other areas of your home as well. The ideal base for all of your textile projects, our Sheeting Fabric is perfect for tablecloths, cushions, beanbags and more. Linen: Breathable and airy, these textured sheets are the most popular during summer. They also have a relaxed look and feel, and some people even prefer them for year-round use. Similarly, hemp sheets feel like linen and are starting to gain popularity for their sustainability aspects; hemp needs very little water to grow.

As the name suggests, Egyptian cotton is created using a cotton plant species in Egypt. It is commonly used in high-end bed linens and favoured by the hospitality sector for making hotel rooms sumptuous and luxurious.

By thinking about the quality of the material alongside thread count, you’ll find bed linens suited to your needs. Thread count refers to the number of yarns in a square inch of fabric, but it shouldn't be a major factor when deciding which cooling sheets to buy. In Good Housekeeping evaluations, thread count did not correlate with performance, but when shopping for 100% cotton, single ply weaves, our tests found that 300 to 500 is ideal.

TESTING NOTES: We found the fabric to be durable across the board in our Lab tests: It was strong, didn't pill easily and held up well to repeated laundering. Testers liked its basic, no-frills construction and shared comments like, "These are a classic sateen sheet — soft and smooth," and "I really liked the material they were made of. It was a much softer material without being a silk sheet. They feel nice on my skin." Each cotton fabric provides a degree of durability, breathability and moisture absorption. Some also offer wrinkle resistance, which is ideal for no-fuss bed linens. There’s also a wide range of colours, from classic to bolder shades. There are several types of cotton to consider, each with distinct characteristics. Understanding their differences will help you choose the right product for you. So, let’s take a look at each type of cotton fabric for bed sheets and their unique benefits. The best cotton for bed sheets 1. Brushed cottonBowls– Use a microwave-safe bowl. Find two bowls that fit one over the over like a bain-marie. So you can place hot water in the bottom bowl. Besides the traditional sheet fabrics described in this article, there are also some non-traditional materials on the market that our experts think are worth trying if you're interested in a unique feel. Percale refers to a closely woven cotton fabric with a plain weave. It has a very cool texture with a thread count of 180 or higher. Pima cotton is also known for its softness and natural sheen. It has medium- to extra-long fibers that are ideal for bed sheets. This cotton is primarily grown in the southwest of the United States, along with a few other locations. Above we’ve highlighted some of the best cotton fabrics for bed sheets, but which type fits your needs best? For higher-quality and more sumptuous options, Egyptian cotton is a great choice. However, for a more affordable yet soft material, brushed cotton and polycotton are both great options.
