Crocodiles are the largest reptiles in the world and the closest living relatives of birds, with whom they share a lineage from the archosaurs. Lyoto wanted to show his own set up of play for a new adventure. It’s just above and called bear-destruction. We all love that it’s a playset which can be arranged in different ways for different games. Also, smaller pieces are easier for storage, and can spread the play across a wider base which is brilliant when you have more than one child playing.Fast forward a few years and they have had SO much fun with Schleich animals and playsets. For his birthday, Lyoto received a gorgeous brown bear [if you’re a long time reader you know Lyoto is obsessed with bears – #BeTheBear] and he was over the moon when the postman delivered the BIGGEST box ever, containing the Schleich Croco Jungle Research Station. Among the many playing functions is that the Croco Sch del has a removable and adjustable upper jaw. It has a secret trap door in the treasure chamber. The Croco Sch del can be connected directly to the research house. There is a clip-on viewing platform for watching the wild jungle animals Once my son had put all the different parts together he was able to enjoy hours of imaginative, open-ended play. I love the fact that there is no right or wrong way to play with Schleich toys. It is easy to see how they prompt imaginative play, and they are definitely educational too! So, the Croco Jungle Research Station is part of the Schleich Wildlife collection, and is themed in the jungle. It’s quite honestly my ideal playset. Crocs, a gorgeous wooden treetop station, and campfire and a cup of tea. I’d live there if I was a mini Schleich person.

This Wild Life play set is suitable for adventurous children aged 5 and over. It is an ideal gift for Christmas or birthday for boys and girlslovingly painted and stand for pagogically valuable and imaginative play. High-quality workman and with a great surface design Childhood is gone in the blink of an eye [except the sleepless nights part, that lasts for decades I think] and I wanted to enjoy every moment I could and make it as fun as possible. The boys have been happy as clams with the Schleich Croco Jungle Research Station. Because it’s just wildlife, they can put their own stamp on it, create their own adventures without having to replicate the mannerisms of characters they’ve seen on TV, and because it’s so beautifully made and resilient, we can take it anywhere, especially outdoors where they’d prefer to be but can’t normally take toys for fear of getting them wet or muddy. These are toys for the rough spots, the touch spots and the very best places for play. This is an amazing set with so much play potential. You can probably imagine how excited my children were to see it and build it. This is a huge playset with lots of different parts, perfect for hours of imaginative play. It does require some building but we found the instruction booklet was great. I was able to leave my 7 year old to put it together whilst I got on with making dinner! The new Schleich Croco jungle research station is the ideal starting point for all Wild Life adventures. This awesome playset includes a big crocodile skull and integrated secret hiding place, the research centre as well as a viewing platform.
