As an NHS business we work tirelessly to provide support to our local community with a particular focus on those most vulnerable and in need. I love that this product is an antioxidant as I live in a city, so I feel that having that barrier is great for my skin. Genetic factors account to 30% of the ageing process due to the slow down of the metabolism of skin cells, with the remaining 70% is caused by exposure to external factors such as UV rays, pollution, infrared and tobacco smoke. They haven't irritated my weird menopausal skin and I can already see a difference - so can others too!

Pure Vitamin C10 is a must-have for anyone looking to combat the negative effects free radicals have on the skin, including dullness, irregular texture, wrinkles and fine lines. Ideal for those with wrinkles, dull skin and uneven tone, the fresh, non-greasy essence melts quickly into skin, releasing a surge of beneficial ingredients to leave the face feeling softer, more hydrated and glowing. This innovative and multi-tasking formulation combines Pure Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Salicylic Acid, Neurosensine peptide and Hyaluronic Acid to reveal radiance in sensitive skin.

I have only been using this serum for a couple of weeks and alternate it with the other LaRoche serum for hydration. Other than the fact that both use L-Ascorbic Acid, there actually aren’t that many similarities here. Given my pale skin, uneven skin tone is also a problem area of mine, but the serum has improved the texture of my skin and complexion in a week. Let’s talk about texture, ingredients and which skin type I would recommend the Vitamin C10 serum to. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Now the vitamin c - whist it has made my skin glowy and brighter, the only reason these produces don’t have 5 stars is that the vitamin C oxidises so quickly. PLUS A DOSE OF THERMAL WATER, with exceptional mineral diversity, delivers cleansing, exfoliating and purifying benefits. I have been using vit C serums for good couple of years as it is a well known radiance booster and after the success of LRP vit B serum which is now forming part of my skincare routine I was looking forward to trying new vit C product! I love that sensitive skin is also catered for as I haven’t always found that and other brands that often leave my face stinging. La Roche Posay Pure Vitamin C 10 Serum is a daily serum that opens the skin with a radiant glow like no other because it contains pure vitamin C, thermal water, and several vitamins that work highly effectively on the restoration of skin cells and reduces wrinkles and signs of aging, its light texture, and fast absorption.

Potassium Hydroxide, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Polysilicone-11, Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Tocopherol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Adenosine, Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester, Peg-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Poloxamer 338, Salicylic Acid, Polyacrylamide, Toluene Sulfonic Acid, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Xanthan Gum, Caprylyl Glycol, Disodium Edta, Bht, Laureth-7, Parfum/Fragrance. In fact, La Roche-Posay was the first French pharmacy brand I tried, so getting my hands on their new Pure Vitamin C10 Serum was a treat! This really is a poor decision by LRP, and though I use many of their other products I hope they can produce a better vitamin C serum in future.
