I love how every page there is a quote on scipture verses where and which book of the bible has been taken to illustrate by conveying His message. Now an old man, the apostle John again encounters angels, Yeshua and many revelations that mark the end of days.

Not just offensive -- ghastly and horrific in content with a clear enemy scapegoat identified for venting apocalyptic religious bigotry.Many other stories of the miraculous things Yeshua did could be included here, but how could any one book hold it all? His disciples refuse to believe it, and one even tells Him not to go, which makes Jesus turn around and tell Peter, “Satan, get behind me!

The cutting edge genuine manga artwork and fast-paced, compelling storytelling make this rendition of the gospels a great outreach tool for a segment of culture that isn't always easy to reach. As a matter of fact, at the time of this writing, my son is three chapters into reading this book himself. While it isn’t a word-for-word adaptation of the account in the Gospels, it does follow them very closely and gives a believable depiction of what the Gospel account would look like drawn in the Japanese style.

It follows both Israel’s and Judah’s apostasy as well as Yahweh’s attempts to lead the people back to Himself thru the prophets.

It then follows his early childhood, his growth into adulthood and subsequent ministry to the people. Both reviewers felt the book tried to include too much information, and that the authors used Jesus' Hebrew name "Yeshuah" in an attempt to make it more palatable to non-Christian readers.The story then follows the lives of the Patriarchs, thus ending with the life of Moses and Israel’s Exodus from Egypt to the Red Sea. Very moving and inspirational with art that is simple yet effective in helping to convey the message of Jesus. When not conquering distant world's via console, he can be found reading, watching anime or Netflix, writing, or just enjoying life as a geek in the city of Miami. At least they tried, but most of the Christian Manga out there is focused on the bible, or martyrs of the faith.

However, if you’re intended audience is fans of manga, I think a better choice would be to publish it in such a way that those fans would feel like they’re reading manga. Tyndale publishes Christian fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, and other resources, including Bibles in the New Living Translation (NLT). I originally bought this and another book in their series for younger siblings but we ended up reading them together.By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Jesus isn’t talking to Peter in this scene, of course, but to the demon trying to convince Him (through Peter) to stop fulfilling His purpose. However, whether people have read the Bible before or not, it’s a great aid for more visual learners and I can really see it being used in an ESL teaching ministry to reach asian overseas students.
