The series has the shortest running time in any Dora the Explorer series and it's one of the first series to do so, with only 11 minutes for two segments of the full episode. The Fiesta Trio now consists of a new lineup. While the blue frog has remained (this time with more saturated colors), the group now features a marmoset and armadillo, replacing the grasshopper and snail respectively.

This DVD release has 6 episodes. All of them were not only seen on older DVDs, but appear for a 2nd time. On the Croatian DVD, The Happy Old Troll replaces Super Spies 2: The Swiping Machine because that dub skipped the 4th season for unknown reasons. Boots' Cuddly Dinosaur, Louder!, The Lost City, Little Star, Super Babies' Dream Adventure, & Dora Had a Little Lamb This DVD release has the 2nd and 3rd episode appear a 2nd time and the last episode appear a 3rd time.
