The robot vacuum touts a run time at full charge of 150 minutes and can clean up to 200 square meters, which is about 2150 square feet. All robots with LIDAR have a turret that rises out of the top so the laser can get a clear view of the walls and furniture around it. It’s also relatively small and compact, particularly for a robot with a LIDAR turret, so it’s well suited to smaller spaces. Many robot vacuums come with a mobile app that allows you to control the vacuum from your phone or tablet. This is above average across all our robot vacuum tests, and comes close to the results of the best robots we’ve tested of late, including the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. Whilst it's significantly on the pricier side, the features between the two robot vacuum cleaners are pretty much the same. it is the independent and autonomous point of reference in Italy on Chinese technology that offers news, reviews, focus, insights, guides, tutorials and much more on Chinese smartphones, tablets, notebooks, accessories and even lifestyle. This is a pretty basic feature for any robot vacuum cleaner, but I was intrigued to see how well the detection levels actually worked.The charging base is rather standard, which I found perhaps a little too light and which could always suffer from the usual problem: if the vacuum cleaner were to go near it and hit it, it would move very easily, making the vacuum cleaner lose the starting point. I found the powerful suction does a decent job of compacting the dust and debris, reducing the cloud of dust that appears during emptying.
Starting from the language, available only in Chinese and English, up to the management of the settings: for example, the vacuum cleaner is equipped with a pump to manage the amount of liquid to be distributed during cleaning, but to be able to find the voice to modify it, it is necessary to enter the general settings of the device (and not the washing ones). Beneath the three buttons is a small, silver-topped disk that houses the Lefant M1’s laser navigation sensors. The Lefant N3 is a great option if you're looking for an advanced robot vacuum cleaner with impressive cleaning features. It’s a fairly low-noise app, but I expect easily-spooked pets to still react to it; but the neighbors definitely won’t hear it. However, I was unsuccessful in three attempts to use Partition cleaning to direct the Lefant M1 to only clean my kitchen area.For someone with less mobile experience, I’d say it could be challenging to set up no-go zones or make use of all its features. The multimap function is the most disappointing, as it’s vague and flaky about how multiple maps are saved, and it’s not possible to divide or label rooms, which can make partial cleans much easier on devices that do have these features. The Lefant App is the most straightforward way to control it, as it allows you to monitor the cleaning path, schedule cleaning plans, adjust suction levels, change cleaning modes, and more. The only two criticisms are on the capacity of the water container, which should have been slightly larger, and on the application: it is as if the brand had focused only on producing a device equipped with quality hardware, leaving out a little 'all the details related to the software which, in my opinion, are equally important. I bought the dim gray one and the issue I have is that I don't know how to make multiple maps for multiple floors and they don't have any documentation about it. If the map is not memorized, it is not possible to perform local cleaning and the robot will encounter some difficulties in finding its base. Apart from being more expensive, I don't want the vacuum to be so big and visible - I don't know where I'd put it either.
