About this deal

I’m a shallow-water power fisherman, so I put my line through a lot. All year long I’m making presentations in the nastiest cover I can find and when you combine that approach with close-quarters, high-impact hooksets, my line needs to hold up. Hence the reason my frugality tends to fall by the wayside when it comes to fluorocarbon. Comments: I use 8 lb on 2 different rods, one fully spooled and the other with braid mainline and red label leader. I use 10 lb on my shallow cranking rod & 12 on my deep cranks. 15 lb on my flipping rod and 20 lb on my swimbait rod. I trust this line enough to throw my 6 Oz deps 250 on 20 lb line. Been using it for 3 years and only had a couple fish break off which were probably my fault for not re-tying. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Comments: Honestly this is some of the best line on the market for the price. I use the 15 lbs. for pretty much everything from texas rigs to crankbaits to buzzbaits. Haven't had any problems with breakage or the line coiling up. Comments:I first used Red Label a couple years ago when I had no idea or had any knowledge of different applications for different lines. I cant remember having a problem with it then. I spooled up in April with this stuff and used it once on a combo and havent touched the combo since.Took it out today and this line performed flawlessly. Over 6 months hold and this line was casting a 1/4 oz. Trap a country mile on my Lews LFS. I will be buying Red Label again! Comments: I use this as leader material for my braid in both fresh and saltwater, from 10-20lb. For that purpose, it is solid all-around. If you're looking for a quality leader material, I'd recommend Red Label. Comments:this is the best 20lb FC in the world. i throw it on a 1/2-3/4 lipless, texas rig, 1/2oz chatterbait. clear and strong. absolutely no issues, been using it for years. Comments:Great Value for the Money, however, I wouldn't buy anything less than 10lb. I used 12 at first, and had zero problems, when I converted that rod to my braid rod, I bought 10lb test for my cranker, and It was horrible. Lost a few lures because it would snap off at the knot. Switched to 12lb Abraze-X and have had zero problems.Comments:I love this line, only brand of flourocarbon i use on the market! I buy this time and time again, it is very abrasion resistant + it is very nicely priced. I have no clue what people are talking about when they say this line doesn't hold up! I've used the 12, 15, and 20 lb and they ALL hold up with great performance! 10/10 for me! Comments:Good knot strength and possibly general strength are the only good features this line has to offer, HORRIBLE memory, knots up easily, castability is not great, maybe I got a bad batch but if not you may as well use low gauge WIRE as fishing line. Comments:except for a couple errors on my part, this line has yet to fail me in the three years I've been using it. I've used different brands and more expensive fluorocarbons and I personally just cant justify spending top dollar when I get great and consistent performance from red label. Comments:This line is surprisingly tough bought the 6lb & I landed multiple 3 to 4lb bass without any flouro complications great knot strength good cast ability & fair abrasion resistance for the pound test I was throwing really impressed keep up the good work Comments:Just started using this line. Got hung up on a Texas rig with 17 lb. Pulled at it HARD, and didn't break off. Finally got it free. This line is pretty tough!!

Comments: Hands down the best fluoro on the market for a great price. i have the 10lb and the 17lb and theyre both awesome Comments: This is some amazing fluorocarbon. Cheap, strong, sensitive, easy casting... It has it all. Get this line Comments: If you're in the business of boat flipping meat nuggets, but you're balling on a budget; this is the stuff for you. Casts like butter baby. Just buy it.I still use this line as my main flouro, with expectations that I will need to replace every month or so, but with that price it's no big deal. Comments:I don't know what some of these people talking about. I love this line. I run braid on everything n use his for leaders & never have problems. It's handles zebra mussels better then any pound braid. For knots I see a polymer, wet your knots & u will never have a problem Comments:Ive been using this line for 5+ years now and its great. Ive have used abrasx and invisx and while those lines are definitely more manageable this line is just as strong and has as good of abrasion resistance as the higher priced lines. I don't ever have breakoffs with this line. With that being said i always use a line conditioner with this line. It gets a little stiff if you dont. So if you want a cheaper strong line and dont mind using line conditioner i highly recommend it. Comments: I've used lots of different lines and I absolutely love it. Knots are easy to tie and casts really far!

Comments:I've used invisX and that Vicious CRAP. This red label is all that! Very low memory and hella knot strength. Haven't had any breaks either Comments:The 10 lb line has cost me 3 jerk baits it isn't very abrasion resistant I also have the 8 for finesse fishing and not problems there. I can guarantee you won't break off and if you are breaking when catching fish make sure you are making a secure knot and wetting your line before you tighten you line and if you are unsure how the line did after catching a fish in some weird situation or just caught a monster in general then retie your line. Comments:This is probably the worst line i've ever bought. tried every knot & blue gills bust me off on 8lbs test. now Seaguar invisx on the other hand. that stuff must be made of dreams because its perfect. Comments:The more I use this line the less I want to buy anything else. The 10 pound is great! The 15lb is great! the 12lb is great! the 20lb.... great! This stuff is just too smooth and strong to ignore. I am not a fish so I cannot attest to its visibility under water.Comments: At first, I enjoyed this line. Now, I only trust the 15lb for heavy applications because the 6lb that I use broke on dinks that aren't even half a pound. Comments:Without question this is the best low dollar flourocarbon on the market. Seaguar is the only company in the world that manufacturers their own resin for their lines so they are able to make a better quality line at a lower price than any of their competitors. Comments: First Flourocarbon line I used. And it didn't disappoint! Thin diameter and strong. I recommend this to anglers that is starting off with Fluorocarbon.
