I’m just saying will a thirteen figure be a Doctor Who Little Miss Figure rather than a Doctor Who Mr Men Figure? Appearing in 1930s Tibet and then in the Underground in Sixties London, the Yeti are a fearsome foe whose war cry sounds not unlike a very slow toilet flush. It combines familiar elements of the television series (such as some Sontarans, and Graham affectionately referring to her as ‘Doc’) with the whimsical wit of the original Mr Men stories. Of all the original Mr Men characters, Dr Thirteenth most closely resembles Little Miss Sunshine, which feels very fitting considering her generally bright and sunny disposition! Hargreaves admits to not having watched the show for “a very long time” before being approached about a book series, and confesses to having spent “an awful lot of time Googling”.The renegade Time Lord, once a friend of the Doctor, has made many memorable appearances over the decades in the show. Reading with Haylee: She immediately went for this book when I gave her the four options to choose from. Reading with Haylee: I decided to read each book with my 3 year old niece because she loves the Little Miss Fickle book her other aunt has. As this story was written before the Thirteenth Doctor’s first series hit our screens, it sadly isn’t able to make reference to this Doctor’s adventures in the same way as the previous Doctor Who /Mr Men books have. She, with her wife Jenny and the Sontaran Strax shared numerous adventures with that particular regeneration and one with his successor, the Twelfth Doctor. The Cybermen, who just recently appeared on television with the Twelfth Doctor and Missy in the epic Series 10 finale, World Enough And Time / The Doctor Falls, first appeared over fifty years ago!
