Keyboard itself takes some time to get adjusted to, after years of using more traditional, larger keyboards. For me, the hardest part was that arrows are right below Enter and Shift buttons - when writing text I often hit the area to the upper left side from arrows, where Enter supposed to be. Also, having F-keys as a secondary action that requires pressing Fn button is annoying sometimes, but I don't use those keys much. If you connect to a Windows device, you should hold down Fn+P after connecting to tell the keyboard to send Windows commands, and FN+O if it’s a Mac. Now that you have learned how to customize the keyboard settings (if desired), you are ready to use the Logitech K780 keyboard for your typing needs. If you encounter any issues or difficulties, refer to the troubleshooting section in the next step. Using the Unifying Receiver requires the use of Logitech’s Options software, which you’ll want anyway if you plan on making changes to your K780’s settings.

It sports a handy tray for stowing smaller devices like tablets and smartphones and offers instantaneous switching between them with a simple keystroke. Like many Logitech peripherals, this computer keyboard is compatible with the Logitech Unifying software for nano-USB connectivity. You’re also free to forego the unifying receiver and connect exclusively through Bluetooth. There’s plenty of flexibility to connect and work with your devices as you see fit, though the actual typing experience is a little less forgiving.I like the design of round keys, I find that key action is good enough and not worse than any compact keyboard. The phone/tablet stand was not useful a lot for me. I don't use tablets, though, and I imagine it's helpful to put a tablet into the stand if the tablet doesn't have it's own stand. Battery life was great. I think I had to change batteries once since 2018. Overall, I'm satisfied with this keyboard. On your device, locate the list of available Bluetooth devices. This may be found in the Bluetooth settings or in a pop-up notification. Setup is easy. You hold down one of the three pairing keys in the top left, wait for it to blink, then pair it with your phone, tablet, or PC like any other Bluetooth item. Simple as pie, no instructions needed. It just works.
If you’re going to take this keyboard on the road, note it’s heavier than any other keyboard I've ever used. It’s important to note that if you have multiple devices connected to the Logitech K780 keyboard, you can easily switch between them using the Easy-Switch buttons located at the top left corner of the keyboard. Each device is assigned a numbered key, and you can switch between them by pressing the corresponding number key. Remember to handle the keyboard with care and avoid applying excessive force or pressure. Once you have completed this step, you are ready to proceed to the next section.Depending on your device, you may be prompted to enter a passkey or confirm a connection code. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the required information to complete the pairing.
