About this deal
I’ve had two flasks prior to this ( two of the best known brands ) and they haven’t been as good as this !
A great purchase if you really resent sipping on ever-so-slightly warm wine during the summer months, this would be perfect for filling up before picnics, festivals and any al-fresco gatherings when you would rather leave the wine cooler at home. The mouth of the flask is relatively narrow, which probably helps to keep heat in but makes filling and cleaning a little tricky. Despite plenty of competition, Thermos is still the most recognisable name in the market, offering an extensive range of products to keep food and drink hot or cold.If you like ice in your wine then it’s worth noting that the mouth of the bottle is quite narrow (indeed, wine bottle narrow) so average sized ice cubes won’t fit through.
While the cold water tended to record similar temperatures across products (with the exception of Klean Kanteen, which I'll get to), there was a significant degree of difference when it came to heat retention. Its sheer size and weight also means this is a flask best reserved for group camps and family picnics. The other critical feature is a secure cap, so that even if your flask gets knocked around or accidentally up-ended in a rucksack it won’t leak. However, if I am to judge it in terms of heat retention and keeping liquids and food cold, it didn’t perform at anywhere near the same level as the others featured in this guide. All the flasks we tested are made of high-quality 18/8 food-grade stainless steel that resists dents, dings and scratches.
C after 12 hours (not that much more than the Stanley, and still piping hot enough for a decent brew). Both the flask and the cup have rubberised silicone bases to prevent them from sliding around on a flat surface.Home Retail Group Card Services Limited is registered in England (04007072) at 33 Holborn, London, United Kingdom, EC1N 2HT.
