i really had the highest expectations for jasper’s book cause i thought he was so spicy in garnet flats but he fell well… flat

Ngl, after reading Garnet Flats, I was hoping that Jasper was going to end up with Lyla but I'm glad her crush on him didn't really cause any problems in this. And when her and Eloise finally talk it out, she's not b***hy about it to Eloise. although no one could possibly surpass foster’s record as an asshole, jasper is a distant second. NO WONDER THEY’RE BESTIES 🚮🚮🚮 This was so good. It was insta-lust (chapter one), which isn’t everyone’s thing, but I thought the author did it well. The sex scenes were awesome, we get a happy ending, double male and female pov. Griffin is rough, but not cringy, he actually gets pretty romantic at the end and we get some pretty exciting plot twits and high-stake scenes.There are many novels available for readers of all ages, from picture books for young children to middle-grade novels for older children and young adults to adult fiction for more mature readers. It is important to choose novels that are appropriate for your reading level and interests. The murder mystery was definitely fun and I was invested but sadly it was clear to me from the beginning who the killer was because most of these murder mystery stories are built up with the exact same story line of having a really obvious person that "should be the killer".

This book was a mystery/romance. I went into it completely blind which was the best way to do it. I had no idea where this book was going the entire time and it made for the best experience. The twists and mysteries in this book were so so so good it had me not able to put the book down because I needed to know what was going to happen. Jasper Vale and Eloise get drunk in vegas and decide to get married but instead of divoricing they stay together for a few months...why you ask?? She doesn't want to seem irresposible in front of her parents and he needs a date to his ex's wedding in Italy. They have to live under the same roof to really sell the fake marriage thing. I definitely think that that is the only reason I really liked this book because the romance alone would have not made this a complete story. No debate needed here, since her first appearance on the first book in the series I knew l would fall in love with her own love story. She was the epitome of kindness with such a pure soul and tender heart but at the same time could get so protective and fierce towards the people she cares about. Her character was absolutely everything I love in a female mc.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with the marriage of convenience trope right now…while they may have gotten married on a whim, they decide to stay married temporarily to benefit them both. Eloise needs her parents to finally hand over the Eloise Hotel, and another irresponsible move might derail those plans. Jasper had a difficult past with an ex, and needs Eloise to attend an event with him. To make this believable they immediately move in together and have to learn to live with each other. Their chemistry was off the charts from day 1, their communication not so much. They have to learn to talk to each other. They have to learn each other’s tell and cues. What do you think they learn? I think it might just be that they are head over heals in love with each other 😍From a personal standpoint, reading can offer a way to escape into different worlds and experiences, as well as to empathize with characters and their struggles. Reading can also promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve cognitive function. but really, how i even supposed to read this book with a straight face with this writing style?? it’s not like it would be shameful to write a good book babes😞.

there was absolutely nothing between them. there was no emotional attraction, no love at first sight, no nothing. it was so underwhelmingly bland. I was just utterly infatuated with both our MC’s and could not put the book down. One of my all town favourite small town series and I STRONGLY recommend you read this series. Winslow is the new police chief in town and doesn’t realize that her ONS the first night is connected to the most influential family and not the tourist she assumed he was. Griffin thought Winslow was just someone passing through and didn’t want to have the strings that come along with a local. Neither of them want a relationship, so they settle for a casual fling. Winslow has a gut feeling that the string of suicides in the town aren’t what everyone is telling her they are, and she starts digging despite being considered an outsider and meeting opposition. There are some suspenseful scenes, some sexy times, and some big secrets revealed…and they get a HEA ending. Closure: This ends with a pretty good epilogue and what I would call a HEA ending they’re married with a child

This book had a pretty good beginning not only because of the romance but because of the mystery murder subplot. Book 1 follows Winslow & Griffin after a one night stand on the first night Winslow moves to Quincy, Montana. Neither of them are looking for a relationship, but the two of them can’t stay away or keep their hands off each other. Not only is the romance of this book a favorite, I also live for suspense plots and mortal peril, which Devney does so well. You can’t cook for shit and he’s going out of town — he prepares meals in advance for all the days he’ll be gone ✔️
