About this deal

Jenna and Steven's kids, Steven and Father Mike, Jenna and her girlfriend, Jenna and her nosy neighbor. Certainly, the tension here is delivered with similar mastery, and Rose (who was a high school chemistry and physics teacher – education’s loss was a gain for readers) knows how to juggle all the requisite elements in a taut narrative like this. Jenna too, has sworn off love after losing her fiancé to cancer, but she finds Stephen a compelling and attractive man. carry over to future books at this time, the only exception being Stephen who it appears may have a secondary role in Kill for Me. Please don't misunderstand me - I like a good, well written romance, and am happy to read sexy novels, but this is not the author's best genre.

Meanwhile, he's trying to deal with his problems at home as his oldest son has had a personality change and is failing chemistry. After failing a star Quarterback and getting into a row with the students father about passing him anyway so he can play football, Jenna's now become a target to sick games but is this the serial killer, or an angry students revenge? With two winners in a row, Karen Rose has earned a spot on my favorite authors list, and I'm really looking forward to reading more of her novels soon. Readers may never use an unsecured free Internet connection again after plowing through Rose’s engaging new thriller. Stephen's priest friend, Mike was a good sounding board for Stephen's problems with both his boys and Jenna. I think that in this one missed the feeling of danger, tension that we can feel in her later books as well as in the fist book of this series ''Don't tell''. I have read all the books in this series and they can't come out fast enough, the way Karen Rose has taken a character from each of the books and taken them to the next one but given them a story in their own right is so good.

I knew I wanted to read Steven Thacker's story after reading Don't Tell and I wasn't disappointed - much.

It's her mindful attitude regarding Stephen's son, Brad that led to her meeting Stephen in the first place. She's very different from Karin Slaughter, whose books I've read most recently, but I nonetheless like her writing. Jenna is my favorite type of heroine, caring and sympathetic but also holds her own against hesitant policemen and diabolical serial killers.

It is the second book in the series, and the hero, Steven Thatcher, also appeared in the previous novel,Don't Tell.Four years ago, Stephen Thatcher's wife was killed in a car accident as she was abandoning him and their three sons to be with her lover. The mystery involving the serial killer has a limited number of suspects but it still was a challenging case with a few red herrings thrown in the mix.
