If Bloom Into You were a movie, this would be the part of the movie where, instead of hastening towards the climax, as American movies do, the characters would spend the next half hour moping, then run halfway across town to finally see each other, but Bloom Into You isn’t a movie, so while Touko and Yuu do exactly as described above, there is a different person for us to follow while they mope. I was wondering, does this purity and innocence in general ala childike innocence/purity or a specific kind like romantic/sexual?

Without spoilers though for some really wonderful scenes, I do want to highlight some of their dialogue. It's still an imperfect series in a lot of ways, but it is also a crucial series in the way Yuu and Maki provide media representation of aromantic/asexual people.By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is the alluring Nanami herself, has Yuu's shoujo romance finally begun? I was cheering for them as they raced to make this final connection, to make what we have been waiting for throughout this entire series happen.

While this Nanami thinks about how she has changed and how the people around her is changing, growing and evolving. It’s the perfect note of hope going into the finale of one of not only the best yuri series, but best manga in general. It’s almost like they needed this brief separation to see just how much they truly do need each other in their lives. So why isn't she ready for Yuu's feelings now that she's sure Yuu really knows who she really is and loves her for real reasons? Fortified by the knowledge that she is choosing to do what she wants to for herself, so she can grow from it, Sayaka finally confesses her feelings to Touko.I love how determined Sayaka was in confessing her feelings to Touko and didn’t react any differently to Touko after getting a response to her confession. Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and fantasizes about the day that she too will get a love confession that will send her heart a-flutter. This is a pretty complicated question and WP keeps eating my answer, so I’m going to invite you to come to the online Yuri panel on May 31 (link pending) and I’ll try to answer in more detail.

To be honest, I was quite surprised by how much I liked this volume, and it totally held up on a second reading as well. The other major aspect of this volume that I want to highlight is some very strong writing, both characters and dialogue. LGBTQ+ representation (0-5): 2 - I'm going to give this some extra loving because of the flashback with Hakozaki-sensei and Miyako that really feels like adult lesbians that exist in the real world and not just fantasy yuri decontextualized from society.Also, I just really adore Maki as a character and him being a lovely representation of the aromantic/asexual spectrum. Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and fantasizes about the day that, she, too, will get a love confession that will send her heart a flutter. I'm so sad the final volume is fast approaching, but I have ADORED this series and am so curious to see how it ends. I personally do not think this would have happened if they did not take this time away from one another. I started reading this coz the anime left things at a very awkward stage and I'm so glad I did because the way the story progressed is better than what I expected.

Sayaka's own journey and subsequent confession in this was both heartbreaking and so inspiring at the same time (งಥ_ಥ)ง The climax in this volume is the climax of the entire series, and I'm ready for the happy ending! In the morning, when Hakozaki notices, Miyako says: "I didn't trust myself in the same bed with you.One of my favorite scenes was early on when Touko tries to strike up a conversation with Yuu, but Yuu wants nothing to do with her. the story and characters here are excellent, and while it may seem like your typical high-school yuri romance, I was surprised several times throughout.
