I blind bought this without really noticing the comments about this being similar to Simply Belle (which I wasn't a fan of).When you first spray it's sharp then it sets in nicely and soft kind of reminds me of baby powder but more mature.

Amazing Grace USED to be a fabulous beautiful perfume with light clean floral tones and a strong sillage with longevity but no more ever since the product line was bought out by Coty around 2007. edit: tried it out again, and it lasted a little longer on my skin but I couldn't smell it on fabric.Combining a burst of Bergamot with Muguet Blossoms and lingering Musk, the feminine fragrance delivers a beautiful scent that will leave skin smelling sweet and fragrant. I'm perfectly happy to slate a perfume that I dislike (my other reviews on here can attest to that) and I'll wax lyrical for days about scents that make my heart sing.

I'd wear this more in fall or winter than spring or summer but that's cuz I like fruity stuff for those seasons. So just FYI, unless your bottle indicates that it's an "eau de parfum", it's probably the EDT version.I can truly say that NEVER have I received more compliments from all types of people than when I wear either this or Philosophy Pure Grace. I keep this scent because it's beautiful to layer with heavier florals and it works great with more masculine scents or anything you want to soften. I lay now, having sprayed Angel Nova on the jacket next to me before going to bed, somehow oozing in Amazing Grace’s ever familiar smell that rubbed off onto me from a pajama shirt I accidentally sprayed with it a few days ago. Overall, if you're in the market for a simple fragrance to throw on when you're feeling indecisive or just want to smell fresh and clean, this is a great choice. I don't quite understand how most of the Fragrantica folks are getting so much musk, as it isn't that musky on me, but we all know how the same fragrance will perform differently on different people.

You can't really judge what a scent is going to smell like just based on what the presenters are saying, but I'd previously blind-bought L'Occitane products from them and had been happy with them both. last year/early this year, and the degree of powder in this scent made it intolerable to me while I was up the duff (I bought this perfume not long prior to getting pregnified).I don't notice it after a while, but I'm consistently told that I smell good by my roommate whenever I walk into the kitchen, so I'd say projection is about 4-6 feet at least for the first few hours.
