About this deal

Enjoy neat or in your favourite classic cocktails like a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned or for something more refreshing, try a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned Cooler. Every bottle of Maker's is still hand-dipped in our signature red wax at our distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, just like Bill, Sr, would have wanted. Each and every bottle of Maker's® is still hand-dipped in our signature red wax at our distillery in Loretto, Ky. Maker's Mark is currently the only operating bourbon distillery to make whisky in batches of less than 19 barrels -- the traditional standard for small-batch whisky.

Purposefully made by hand, the wheated mash bill provides a sweeter and softer flavour profile, maximizing flavours without the bite. It is, however, still very important that you let us know of any breakages once received so we can arrange replacement wine for you as quickly as possible. There are lovely notes of spiced honey and mixed peels, a little malmsey, hazelnut and a touch of cut fruit with toasty oak providing a backbone. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you may cancel a distance contract to purchase a product or products from us at any time within 7 working days after the day you received the relevant product or products (subject to the limitations set out below). The creator of this liquor, Bill Samuels Sr, set out with a simple plan: to produce a bourbon that was big on flavour but free from the signature whiskey burn. In the event of any safety concerns or for any other information about a product please carefully read any instructions provided on the label or packaging and contact the manufacturer. Your items will be delivered in a single package and will be determined by the longest lead time of all the items in your bag.

Never bitter or sharp, Maker's Mark® is made with soft red winter wheat, instead of the usual rye, for a one-of-a-kind, full-flavored bourbon that's easy to drink. Each part of the process – from bottling Maker’s® at 90 proof to making it with red winter wheat – is carefully considered to produce a smoother-tasting whisky. When tastes of butterscotch, cinnamon, and toasted almond are at their peak, Maker’s Mark is bottled in premium glassware and sealed with their standout red wax topper.

This one changed the way we think of bourbon, all because one man changed the way he thought about making it. After losing his family’s 170-year-old bourbon recipe in a fire, Bill Samuels and his wife Margie set out to revive the family heirloom, by making a bourbon just as special as the original recipe and thus, Maker’s Mark was born. If you do require precise ingredient information you should consult the manufacturer, whose contact details will appear on the packaging or label. Maker's Mark began with one family's quest to create a bourbon they enjoyed drinking and sharing with friends. Our selection of modern gourmet food and drink gifts is carefully curated to meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.Maker's Mark ® began with one family's quest to create a bourbon they enjoyed drinking and sharing with friends. Makers Mark maintain that they distil their bourbon to the lowest proof of any US whiskey distillery.

The journey of Maker’s Mark began in Kentucky, USA in 1953 and what followed next was a revolution in the drinks industry. Just like artists who sign off their work with a “Makers Mark”, each bottle of this bourbon is closed with a red wax seal and embossed with “SIV”. Maker's Mark is matured in seasoned American oak barrels that are charred on the inside before being matured for three Kentucky summers. By using subtle red winter wheat instead of rye, Maker’s Mark succeeded in devising a spirit with no bitterness or heat, delicious over ice and perfect for mixing.

Aged in new toasted American Oak barrels, aged to taste, not time and every barrel is rotated by hand for a smoother flavour. Information and statements about products are not intended to be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.
