About this deal

I am a Middle Leader with experience of leading a team within my department and also leading on various whole school approaches and events. Dealing with criticism and learning from it, keeping optimistic during difficult times and having the courage to take carefully considered risks are all explored by Buck. My role was to provide some historical context, unraveling the past to help participants understand how the world of museum work got to where it is. This first session, recorded on Tuesday 5 December, covered a range of topics, including depression, loneliness, domestic abuse, wellbeing tips and further support.

There were also some whopper questions like this one: Is it unethical to hire in such a poorly paid field. Leadership Matters' is an event run by Aston Business School that provides alumni, (MBA) students and external guests with an opportunity to network, as well as hear from a panel of business leaders on 'best practice' and challenges.

It allows leaders of all levels within education to access the advice and experience being shared which I feel is most effective through Andy's use of diagrams.
