About this deal
Examples for the use of KryoSheet are the refurbishing of used graphics cards and notebooks/laptops.
Liquid Metal is top but it kinda bonds on the top layer of the cpu IHS and it’s like impossible to clean without removing also the lettering which makes selling the cpu way more difficult.
Will probably be a few weeks before I swap, not doing anything in the short term that needs full performance. However, as a side effect of this complex manufacturing process, the electrical conductivity is also increased. Around the same time, I stumbled upon a review from Jays2cents, a review of KryoSheet Graphene thermal interface sheet from Thermal Grizzly. I do not think it functions properly under a delidded and resealed IHS--I would ONLY use liquid metal for relidding for very obvious reasons. Don't know about that, but there is a direct heat dispersion comparison between using either Paste and these new Kyrosheets.
