About this deal

The other singles with the exception of "Flathead" only managed to chart in the UK, where they were moderately popular.

Pedí el cambio del producto, debido a dos saltos en la primera canción, el segundo vinilo recibido tiene exactamente los dos mismos fallos.Pitchfork may earn a portion of sales from products that are purchased through our site as part of our Affiliate Partnerships with retailers. Costello Music tears along with the energy and cheekiness of early Supergrass, vocals that are part-Bolan part-Doherty and a unpretentious love of all things pop. The music is fantastic and I would highly recommend this album but I only know this from past experience of the album as I can't access it on my phone. They cut short the US leg of their tour, canceling nine dates, citing fatigue from their many months of touring as the cause. And, in the pantheon of iPod pitchmen bands, will the Fratellis be the next Jet or just the next Caesars?

Aber nachdem ich den Titel durch Zufall mitbekommen und dann auch auf YT gefunden habe, habe ich weitere Lieder von der Band gesucht und was soll ich sagen - einfach genial Mucke. Yes I know they are 'Indie' but these boys style origins come more from the gods of guitar wielding stompin rockin 70's glam rockers than the likes of Coldplay. The exception - in terms of a change of pace - is the "ballad" (inverted commas as I'm not sure the Fratellis entirely "do" ballads), "Whistle for the Choir" - which although it demonstrates a definite naivety with slower songs, improves with repeated listening. Naturally "Henrietta" would be a storming opening for any album, but the pace and energy is maintained through the first half. Though 98% of their songs are about getting/losing girls, the Fratellis are more like horny but harmless schoolboys than dirtbag lotharios, more mischievous than malicious.Chelsea Dagger" was the most successful single, peaking at five in the UK and four in the Netherlands.

Cataloging a lover's spat on "For the Girl", frontman Jon Fratelli explains she "she was into the Stones, I was into the Roses," but his band's traditionalist pub rock makes you wonder why the girl's preference for the geezers would be such a thorny issue. A Japanese version of Costello Music was released on 21 February 2007 containing two tracks unavailable on other versions: "Dirty Barry Stole the Bluebird" – a B-side of the "Chelsea Dagger" single, and "Cigarello" from the Flathead EP. Ole Black `n' Blue Eyes" is arguably the best offering here, and revisits Chelsea (who herself gets a nod in the sleeve notes). No, it's okay though, what I did like was the cover art, and I just may get another different album in the future.
